3D CONCRETE DESIGN

Nick the owner was excellent to work with, and Paul who did the overlay and sealant did outstanding work. They were wonderful to work with, they would answer phone calls and get back to you right away with any questions that you had. They did everything that they promised. I would highly recommend using 3d concrete.

3D installed a paver patio with stairs at our house 11 years ago. They failed to use a waterproof membrane in between the paver stairs and the side of our house. Moisture has seeped in as a result causing our brick wall to crumble. We had 2 brick repair companies come out to diagnose the problem and they both said it was because the company who installed the stairs didn’t put in the membrane. The stairs and bricks need to be replaced and the membrane that was supposed to be used needs to be installed. 3D does not take responsibility for this. The patio is also coming up at the edges in some parts and sinking in other parts. I caution you to not use 3D. The work will look good for a few years but not in the long run and they will cause huge problems to your house because they don’t install properly. They will not take responsibility for their mistakes and poor workmanship.

Nick from 3D Concrete Design was extremely helpful! I was unsure whether a patio crack needed repair on full-on replacement. Nick recommended a simple repair, explained why in plain-language and provided a fair estimate in no time. From this interaction, I can tell that the folks at 3D Concrete Design are honest brokers and stand-people. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again in the future :-)

We were happy with 3D's work. Through no fault of theirs, water damaged the new patio's color stain before it could be sealed. They worked with us to make things right. The final result is excellent and a great improvement over what we had before.

Very unresponsive and difficult to get a call back on the phone. No consideration for our property at all. Need to be watched through whole process. If we hadn't been watching would have had a lot of mistakes. Nice people just a little hard to work with.

3D Concrete Design responded to my request for an estimate the same day I spoke to them. They arrived when they said they would and the job was completed in 3 days. They were very professional. The cleanup of the site was great. Definitely would hire them again.

The sealing of the patio was done about 3 weeks after the patio was done. I was not pleased with the sealing and they said there was nothing they could do about it. They said the sealing would take an entire day, but it only took him a couple of hours and it cost me $350.00, he initially told me it would cost $300.00. <br />

The work went great. <br /> 3D was very quick to come out and conduct a site inspection, create an estimate and provide it.  When we wanted updates to the proposal, they were again very quick to come out, update it and deliver it.  When we wanted to start work, we paid a deposit and they were very prompt, scheduling within a week or so, did great work on schedule and had no issue.   <br /> They weren't professional about collecting payment, but I would use them again. <br /> They gave us a bill and then they started contacting us repeatedly for payment- not waiting 15 days or 30 days for us to pay.  They contacted us repeatedly for the balance payment.  We asked if he wanted paypal or quickpay since he was in a rush, but he said no.  We put the check in the mail, and he continued to call us multiple times per week.  I asked him to stop bothering us until the following Friday, and if the check was lost in the mail, we would reissue.  He left me a voicemail on Friday that the check wasn't received.  I called him on Tuesday to arrange a new check- he explained he got the check the day before, and his brother may have mixed up the mail and thats why he may not have received it.   <br /> I would use them again, but I would hand them a check upon completion, since they are antsy for payment. <br />

He did a fabulous job. He gets "A's" across the board. They really have high quality of work and fair prices.

Representative came out within hours to take measurements and give estimates. <br />Workers came out when scheduled to put in forms. Following a slight rain delay, <br />concrete was poured and finished. 3 days later forms were removed. Extremely <br />professional and friendly crew. Area surrounding left swept and clean. Would definitely <br />use again and and would definitely recommend. <br />

When I called 3D concrete for an estimate, I was able to make an appointment immediately.  The estimate process went well:  Nick discussed everything in detail, understood what we wanted and made good recommendations.  (For instance, although others had said stamped concrete would be fine, he strongly recommended against it and instead said that brushed concrete should be used to provide the most traction in bad weather, which was our big concern.) <br />       Nick wrote out an estimate on the spot and provided a long list of references.  The two that I phoned gave excellent feedback. <br />       I had to obtain the village permit myself.  Nick said that once we had the permit, it would be several weeks before the job could begin.  But it took four weeks for me to get the permit, and work began just a few days later, which was great. During the permit obtaining process, I had to get back to Nick with a number of questions.  Whether by phone, e-mail, or snail mail, he always responded super-promptly, so I could keep things moving along. <br />       The men doing the work did what looked like an excellent job as we watched them.  The framing, pouring, smoothing, and brushing looked very professional. <br />       It took about a week between demolition and pour because of a run of rainy weather. One day, the foreman saw me sweeping sticks off the driveway with a broom after a storm, and he went and got his leafblower and blew the driveway completely clean, which was really kind and helpful. <br />       Part of the demolition was removal of some existing iron handrails by the original stoop.  The foreman asked what we would do for rails before the railing company could install the new permanent ones.  When I said we were going to ask someone to put up temporary wood rails, he offered to do that, and his crew put up excellent sturdy rails that were a lifesaver.  Weeks afterward, when the final railings were put in, I called Nick about removing them, which he had said he would do, and he had them removed the next day. <br />       We worked with the railing company that Nick recommended, Railings & Things, and they were great, too, so I really appreciated his recommendation. <br />       The original estimate was $6608.  We were given these additional charges: <br /> $25 for dealing with rebar, which was found unexpectedly under the front stoop during demolition.  (It was kept in place for the new stoop.) <br /> $1200 for relaying bricks that were removed from the driveway when the original walkway was removed.  The crew did a super-professional job on this, and it looks seamless.  However, that seemed like something we might have been informed of in advance. <br />       I would work with this company again in a heartbeat because of their responsiveness, professionalism, prompt work, and the excellent final result, which are well worth the additional charges that we received.  <br />

They were fantastic. We got other quotes from different companies and 3D Concrete was in the middle of the quotes. But, we chose them based on their professionalism and experience, not just because of pricing, because you always get what you pay for, "as I've experienced in the past". Anthony was our estimator and he was very thorough with explaining how the whole process would go. They came out on the day they said they would start, and finished the work on the day they said it would be finished. The crew was very polite, clean, and they knew exactly what they were doing. It was very impressive how well the crew worked together, you could tell just by watching the whole process that everyone knew what they were doing. The finished patio and walkway looks GREAT !! I definitely will have them install my driveway and front walk next year. <br />
