3D Landscaping

I have used this lawn service for almost two years.  They are very good about keeping to our agreed upon schedule and have done everything I have asked them to do.  However, that is one thing that bothers me about them; I have to ask them to pay notice to things that I feel a professional and experienced lawn service should take care of without the client having to mention it.  I also don't like how they leave the bags of lawn debris for me to have to dispose of.   <br />

Our initial meet and greet was very good. Once they installed the system something went wrong and getting him back out was a little bit slow. I think it's kind of a mom and pop situation so not sure if that effected the caliber of service or not. I would rate them overall a C. I also thought they were a little pricey. They came out one day for two or three hours and then the next day for three hours so I thought $1,000 was a little high. They did use a good product however and the gentlemen was professional and courteous. They will come out for one year and fix anything that might go wrong. 

It's now the end of May, and my yard is as full of weeds as it ever was.  Was told it would take two treatments for weed protection, and that they would have to come back later in the season to treat, but haven't heard from them since.  They were supposed to remove the mulch in several beds in the front yard to match the back yard, but they only put weed fabric over the old mulch and covered that with the gravel.  Unfortunately they also got a lot of the stones all over my yard, requiring a lot of time on my hands and knees picking them out of the grass.  The ornamental rings around my crate mertels were simply surface laid.  No attempt was made to level the brick.  Heck, my 10 year old could have done that.  And finally, they never did anything to level the divots in my back yard.  When I asked about it, I was told they'd come back later and take care of it.  Still waiting.

Mr Simpson gave us Mr. Walker's name as a trustworthy person to fix our sprinkler system.  Mr Walker was very professional, taking time to make sure we understood what was needed, what he could do, what he thought was best, and even gave us a choice of going a less expensive route.  We chose to put more money in now so we do not have to worry about anything later.  The work was done when he said it would be, he explained why the job did not get completely finished on the first day, and prevented any further problems until he could speak with us about the valve problem.  We would certainly call 3D again.

Overall, I was very impressed with their professionalism and service and felt it was money well spent.
