When I looked them up on Angie's List, they had a lot of little errors. They were fine. The work was fine. It was just that I can't get any contact with them now so I am a little annoyed. At that time, they were good. I am not a tile expert, but it looked very nice by the time they were done with it. The grouting is good. They were very professional and timely so that was good. There weren't robotic, you can talk to them, there were people. Once they started the work, they were very good. They showed up on time. I will not use them again because I still can't reach them.

It was OK. Scheduling was fine. The technicians were good but the quality of the tilework was questionable as there are areas where the tile is uneven. They responded quickly this but they indicated it would require a lot of retouching. He was able to fix some spots but not all.

What they did was great. There was one area that they were supposed to come and fix up. They did back splash and I guess it's 7/8th of an inch in between the tiles. Under the window sill, there was like a quarter inch, which is too big of a space and it's cracking a little bit. So I called them a couple of times. It has been almost a year and they haven't come out. I hate to give them a bad recommendation because what they did was good. I liked the job they did, but I feel that if there is a correction to be made they should have come out and made it without me having to call constantly. I haven't called them for a while, only because I got kind of disgusted with it. But the quality of the work that they did was very nice and I was happy with it. I wash the dishes and I look at it because I know it's there. The rest of it looks very, very nice and I can't complain. There were additional charges on top of the big deal amount because I didn't use their tile. I had ordered my own tile. So I guess there was more work involved. So they told me. I think I paid $100 more. If they fixed the thing in a timely manner, I definitely would have made recommendations. In fact, I was kind of thinking about them for a bathroom upstairs. But I just don't like having to ask for a service that I already paid for, repeatedly. I guess, that's my issue. I don't want to have to call you back several times before you come out and fix it.

This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well. It went pretty well but it seemed like they were more interested in upselling us. We also had to reschedule a few times.

Did not keep to the estimated services; cut corners in many ways to save money to my disadvantage; the grout that they used has cracked in several places already; they 'borrowed' my equipment including 75' of electric cord and a ladder and never returned them; refuse to return my calls or my equipment; they made several promises that they have not kept; one tile placed in the middle of the top row - bullnose - is the wrong shade; they refuse to return my calls and make the repair even though I offered to pay them. I supplied my own tile, the tile is good; this because they refused to provide me with samples to view to choose from their selections (supposed to pick from internet pictures). They did not keep to agreed upon placement and used all 100 of my tiles (were only supposed to use about 25) without saving me any for spares (without my permission); took it upon themselves to make opposite decisions after I told them how to proceed up the wall. Now I have no spares; the manufacturer only sells this tile in boxes of 100. Refuse all contact.
I looked over over Anglie's List reviews and saw their reviews were good. George, one of the owners came to the condo that was being remodeled and basically he informed me I could have any kind of backslash I wanted! We used Home Depot and Lowes websites to look at available ceramic tiles. He had countless before and after photos on his phone and the tile I picked out for the backslash was well under the allowance 3J allowed for materials. He said he had stopped using commercial tile stores and would prefer that his customers used the Cherry Hill or any Home Depot as a tile showroom and to pick out selections. I decided to get a price from him on other tile work in the condo's bathroom. The bathroom had a brand new Rebath tub/shower area install that covered 1970ies small yellow tiles. Although I did the Rebath installation because I did not want to go through the bother noise (next door neighbor senior who complained about any condo rehab noise), dust and expensive of a new tub/shower area, the price for Rebath to CONTINUE their acrylic covering for the rest of the bathroom was outrageous ($3000) and that price did not include a new final roll floor over the existing title floor ($1,500). I only wanted the acrylic in the bath and 3 J ceramic tile is much nicer looking then sheets of plastic from bath fitter and the PRICE was so much lower for real ceramic tile!_x000D_|I contracted with 3 J for $1,500.00 ($750 down and $750 on compilation ) to removal the old ceramic tiles on wall and floor. They leveled the floor, and patched up a VERY large opening from old medicine chest. They agreed to have work done before the end of August. I shopped my local home depot and selected my tile choices to 3J office (Stephanie) who was great. Although the ceramic bathroom floor walls and kitchen backslash are in and great, the only problem I ran into was that the day 3J was suppose to come to start demolition was pushed to the next day with out much notice (that morning!) I know they are a Cherry Hill NJ outfit, I heard that because of the Anglie's List coupon they were in center city, all over NJ and where I lived in lower Bucks county. I think when they did the install for me they were doing several other Angie's List instal. On the day of the actual insulation, I was surprised when I was informed they were ready for demolition but George wanted me to go to Home Depot with him to pick out tiles. He said he saw what I emailed to his office but wanted to make sure we were on the same page. I was at first disappointed because I already went to the store several times. however, going to the Home Depot with George turned out to be A GREAT IDEA AND MADE FOR A GREAT LOOKING BATHROOM! At the store, George saw what I wanted to use and suggested different tiles which were actual much more expensive and more attractive then what I picked with out him and there was going to be NO additional cost increase for better materials. The actual contractors that did the demolition and instal were great. One of the contractors was the lead and seemed to be training his co worker in ceramic tile work. I could hear the training or instructions between the two and proved to me out careful they were to make the kitchen and bathroom look great. He asked me to check all his work for any mistakes and explained no matter how hard one looks at tile you can't always see mistakes because you are doing so much hand measuring and cuts. I found a few flaws that were fixed on the spot. It is now six months since I had the work done. It look wonderful. I found one or two minor flaws that I know would of been addressed on the spot if noticed, but they are so minor it's not a real concern to me (kitchen wall was not 100% even and one or two tiles are not even with the rest and can only be seen in certain light. I would certainly use 3J again and now like the idea of shopping with the owner for choices. Although I was out of their general area and they were not use to my neighborhood, I understand the original start times delays and part of the delay was caused by me wanting work done before the end of August and George pushing my job in their busy schedule and getting the work done in my time line. Thank you 3 J's for a great price and great work!

I have been hesitant to write a review because the overall terrible experience was due to someone who is no longer working with them (I was told). He showed up without giving a start date, brought the wrong tile (that I was able to return), and brought the wrong granite (which I'm stuck with).

The initial consultation was great but due to the number of responses to the deal, my appointment was continually delayed. |The installation went quick although grout was put around the base of the toilet, tub and vanity (I think caulk should have been used). |However I must point out, for the price, I am very pleased with the work and will use them again for my kitchen foor. |

I bought the tile deal because of the price but now I realize that for the stress would be best to spend some extra dollars to get the service done quick and detailed. The office staff was friendly but the company was really bad with punctuality since the initial meeting. All the meetings got pushed one or more days, and even on the day schedule for the service it was never on time - so be prepared to be waiting, and waiting.
The team doing the job was nice and tried to do a clean as much as possible. The job was done OK but not great - after 48h the grout cracked - they came back to repair after a few weeks. The finishes were not detailed as I expected - the side tiles for the footer had no grout/sealer on the top - so I had to do it myself, - the toilet caps over the screws were loose - I had to seal it myself and applying the tiles they didn't use a level (or I didn't see it at any moment) - in the overall context looks good but when you get closer, you might notice issues.
I think the basic job for the price was good but the delays and detailing wasn't good at all. In the end, you get what you pay for.
They did a great job and were very professional. They replaced dated windows with new ones, a door, fixed a gutter and an outlet. They will also return to take out and install a new light fixture or fan. I would definitely use the service again again and recommend the service. They have a new name T and J LLC contracting and are no longer 3J's.
The company quoted an Angie's list price. The office was only really available via emails. I purchased my own tile because I could not see any of the included tile samples from them, and they could not give me the tile company or color id numbers of the tiles that I could choose from. They reimbursed me a small allowance for my tile. The next time they showed up, prior to installation, a different man said it was under quoted. When they did the work, they did not exactly follow the quotation, i.e. they did not remove my old tile; instead they installed over top of my old floor. My door height was high enough, but now it brushes against my bathroom rug as it opens. They were nice guys, and spent lots of time on the work and tried to do it right once they got started. They charged me extra for some extra work going up the walls, both on the quotation and a little more on the date of service. Several men were here most of the day, planning, cutting and laying tile.
After they left, I noticed that one of the topmost bullnose tiles is totally mismatched. I called them to come back and replace it with the correct tile, but have had no response from them. I left several messages and even said I'd be willing to pay a small fee, but they didn't respond. Once I spoke to one of the workers and he said he'd tell the owner to call me. It has not yet happened. They seem to be quite busy and said it was due to the Angie's List special that they ran, which I could certainly understand, since it was such a good price. I am satisfied with the work (except for that one tile), and they cleaned up after themselves pretty well when they left, they even swept. Because I have animals, I made sure to pick up any small pieces that may have been left behind, and I rinsed off my patio because that is where they did the cutting. Everyone says the tile looks great. I'm ordering new cabinetry for the bathroom and hope that I can get that one tile fixed before the cabinets are installed.

The Big Deal was okay. They replaced my bathroom floor and that went well. I would give them a B+ on that phase of the work. I contracted them to do a tub to shower conversion after that. Not so pleased with that phase of the work. As far as I am concerned they never finished the job. There was trouble with some color leaching through on the floor pan grout. Somewhat addressed, but not finished. On the shower ledge, one regular tile was used instead of bullnose tile. I have put in repeated calls to the contractor with absolutely no response.
We were originally told that the whole job would take only one day. This was nowhere close to correct. Workers did arrive promptly. However, John hadn't purchased the vanity in advance and when he went to the big box store, they did not have the vanity we had agreed on. I agreed to pay slightly more $ for a much more expensive and nicer vanity. The next problem was that the measurements weren't done correctly and the new vanity was much taller than the one being replaced. The new vanity would now be higher than the mirror/medicine cabinet on the back wall.
While I really didn't care for the existing mirror/cabinet I had wanted to avoid demolishing that. In the end, we agreed to remove the existing mirror, 3J would redo the drywall and install a new mirror and surface-mount medicine chest I purchased for a little bit more $. The quality of the vanity, drywall work and painting was excellent. However we were now on the 3rd day of the job.
Unfortunately there was one more major problem. When the new plumbing fixture was reconnected to the water, they didn't properly tighten the line. The result was water dripping down and ruining a 2' x 3' section of our kitchen ceiling. John was very proactive about trying to get it fixed. However they made several repair attempts that were ineffective. Finally after about two months (including a couple of no-shows), the entire section of ceiling was cut out and properly repaired. To their credit 3J did not walk away and kept at it until it was "right." In the end we paid a little more for the renovation but got substantially more than we paid for. However there was lots of extra trips and time off from work. 3J does seem to be overwhelmed by the amount of work they have and it probably contributed to the problems.

John arrived as scheduled to look over our bathroom and take measurements. We selected the tile we wanted. This part was easy and painless. We also agreed on some additional renovations to do on the bathroom. That renovation will be reviewed separately since it wasn't part of the Angie's Deal on the floor. We waited several weeks to get a scheduled install date and I finally had to call and schedule the work. Once the work was scheduled, the workers showed up on time. The quality of the work done was excellent. There was an issue related to the renovation that resulted in more tile being required than the Angie's Deal allowed for but 3Js s covered this with no extra expense.
The reason we wouldn't use the provider again is based more on the renovation done in conjunction with the floor install.
In the beginning things went well; but now my bathroom has developed a slow leak on my bathroom floor. I have been trying to get a hold of him to come out and work on it and he made an appointment with me for yesterday morning and did not show up; and all day today he is not answer his phone. He has even disconnected calls with me as I have been trying to contact him. I have left many messages but he is not returning the calls.

HE promised me things that he is now not giving me; like returning to repair his work.

Everything turned out terrific. The communication was also great. The only thing I have a complaint about is their lack of respect to the other items in the bathroom. They dented and scratched our vanity and the bathroom door was also scratched up.
