Very Professional and friendly, started at the scheduled date and time. Bob was very informative and gave us more tips on things that can be approved. Tried to help us as much as he could after our basement was flooded. Gave us all different options and at competitive prices. Would definitely call again if needed.

Bob was a wonderful repair technician. He repaired our furnace, and then we had an unexpected snafu (something else broke on the furnace and hid itself until after Bob left) and had to return the day after a blizzard. Once again fixed the furnace and it's been running well ever since. Very professional, quick to get back to me by phone and email, and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

In my experience. They installed my unit, but would not honor any of the warranties that they advertised. After the unit was installed, I could not get them up to do any repairs or address any of my concerns. Once they have your money, they will not return your calls.

"We attempt to do our best on every service call that comes to our office and are sorry we were unable to satisfy your concerns. Unfortunately, the warranty on your unit had expired in 2012 so any current parts and labor work would not be covered. Also, since we are in the heat of the summer it is difficult for us to extend past our homeland of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We informed the costumer It would be optimal for both parties if they were to choose a more local tech to help accommodate a reasonable time table on service work. Thank you for your review and helping us become a better company with your constructive feedback."

I found the owner, Robert Schmitt, very knowledgeable and reliable. I had to do an emergency oil-to-gas conversion in Jan 2014. I received four different quotes, and his provided the most value for the money. I installed a 115000 BTU furnace + central air conditioning unit in 2 days. His work was clean, his crew was professional, he was at the job, and everything was done and passed inspection. He is the type of contractor that pays attention to details in his work, and everything was quoted before the job and was exactly what I paid. My system works great. I absolutely recommend them.

I had Bob from 3rd Generation come by my house on one of the hottest days of the summer with my AC system not working. There were a couple of other local HVAC companies I had provide estimates as well. Ultimately I went with Bob because he's an honest guy and I trusted him. The next day Bob and his crew came to the house with the new system and had me up and running. They used dropped cloth and wore booties. Kept the house clean and my house has never been more comfortable to be in. Highly recommend.

They courteous the schedule and keep their scheduled appointments without surprises. They thoroughly explain everything advance. They take the time after the install to make sure the system is up and running properly before taking your money. They provide 3 quality options with figures and expected utility savings in advance. They service what they sell. Their prices are more reasonable compared to the large retailers of the world and more importantly they give you more quality and value and system for the buck, and they do it more competently you courteously so you understand the process.

The company provided the most detailed and thorough estimate, came when hey were scheduled and did an excellent job. I opted to replace my air conditioner as well and the work was completed in a timely manner. They were respectful of my home and my time. The company is not inexpensive, but the result is well worth the price.

The team at 3rd Generation exceeded our expectations by first being an excellent listener on thoroughly understanding our HVAC needs, always personally answering the phone for questions or concerns, and exhausting all possibilities to satisfy our requests. I am not one to generally accept online surveys prompting a quote from someone that is not personally recommended, but we are very thankful & appreciative for 3rd Generation that they have already completed another job within our home. Our search for an HVAC specialist is complete.

3rd Generation did a very complex install for me and they did an oustanding job. New hi-eff furnace, A/C, tankless water heater and 3 zone flexible ducts using dampeners. They turned my 1 zone home into a 3 zone home and I am saving 25%+ in energy with the new equipment and zoning. It all works as advertised, including the tankless hot water heater. The team is highly skilled and the quality of the work was outstanding.

They were more interested in selling me a service contract than fixing my heat.. There service was good. But they showed uo without parts and the price they wanted to charge was way too much. They wanted to charge over 600.00. I was abte to buy the part and fix the heat for 87.00. The only tools I needed was a screw driver and an adj. wrench. It took me about 1/2 an hour to change the part. I would never use this company again.. Joe D.

Our techs show up on time go over entire home comfort system(s)locate problem(reason why we were called) and present homeowner with straight foward pricing with discounts for club membership. We do not charge hourly which isnt fair for homeowners and we stand behind our work with great gaurantees. I needed someone and they called and came right away. It was 11 degrees outside and I was not fooling around on a Saturday. I was up all night friday manually reseting the furnace to get heat. I was exhusted. At around 5am I found service magic on the web. They had this company call me. They were busy but came and got the furnace working anyway - right away. It was a temporary fix until the part I needed came in. They came back on tuesday and put the new part in. The tech was the same one both times. A real good guy and a real good tech. I cant remember his name at the moment but I would look up the old ticket and request him again.

I replaced my oil furnace with natural gas, it was a big job. They were very professional neat, clean, polite and they accommodated all of my requests. Of all of the contractors that I received bids from, 3rd Generation is the only one that followed up multiple times, on top of it all, I got a fair price. Good guys, great service I would highly recommend them.
