Can’t say enough. I spoke to several companies and got many quotes per square foot and how thick and how quick. Kevin the owner scheduled the job quickly and was good about communicating everything. Showed up on time and got the job done quickly. He went above and beyond he did a better job than he originally promised and left everything clean.

Kevin and his crew were responsive from the estimate to the completion. The full project was removal of old insulation, sanitizing, duct repair and new blown insulation. They adjusted the schedule to accommodate a roof repair mid project, they provided the documentation I requested, and they cleaned up each day. Blown In Insulation Install or Upgrade
The Good-They blew in plenty of insulation in my attic, sealed the ducts, and restored one leaking duct as promised and at the agreed upon price. The Bad-They grossly overcharged me for putting in a new thermostat, putting in a new supply plenum, and running a duct from the master bedroom to the supply plenum. They also started the job late and didn't finish until 11 at night. They left the house with a hole in the ceiling, an unfinished wall where the thermostat was installed, and messy work on the air handler, etc. When asked to come back and finish, they only came back to patch the hole in the ceiling, and did not take care of the rest of the mess they left. The Ugly-They lied about the cost of the thermostat and inflated the price of the supply plenum.

"We only do insulation. The AC contractor was in charge of the AC, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm coming back cleaning up someone else mess. I don't have a problem with that. As for the thermostat, it was cosmetic because we had to move the thermostat over because of the type of thermostat that was wanted from your tenant. I also personally disclose to you that your tenant went a little crazy with everything he was asking for. I'm an insulation company so I am responsible for the insulation. Hired them to insulate my attic. They came out for a free estimate gave me my best options for my home and price up front. They came out when they said they would and on time. "I am sorry to heart that James we make it a priority to please our customers. We took a extra day to guarantee all insulation was removed properly. It may seem like at the end it was rushed because in all reality it takes 45 minutes to add new insulation unlike it taking us 8-15 hours to remove and sanitize. Also due to covid we are slam packed and were working on coming back to install the plywood. We are sorry there was such a delay. We also made sure that you were pleased before heading out. Keep a look out on the energy efficiency difference. Remember we never mind coming back. Thanks again for choosing 4K!"

I was shopping, and after obtaining all my quote purchased the next day! 4K Insulation personnel are extremely knowledgable, professional and are an extremely attentive staff. No one comes close to their prices, I know, I checked. Use 4K with confidence, great service at unbelievable prices!
