"First, the customer signed a contract with my company to pay $1750 for painting a fully furnished occupied master bedroom with under-ceiling storage space and a stair wall, and to repair a deck railing (did not mention the deck repair). Then he changed his mind to cancel the job even before I started although I already bought the materials for him and did not take any advance payment. Then he agreed to continue and we (yes, I have two teenage boys who help me in the job and learning the trade) worked 2 days on painting and repairing the deck. Then he changed his mind again and he wanted a different color. Then I asked him to buy paint with his color of choice so I do not make any mistakes by tinting his color choice. Then I had to work one more extra day to put his new paint over my paint. Since he received an offer for his house on sale while I was on the job, he did not care much about the painting and paying my bill. I had to wait till 10 pm for him to come back and pay my bill on the day I finished the project. So, I couldn't trust him to get paid other than Zelle because of his flip-flop characteristics and unreliable personality. Then I offered him free recall service anytime until he was satisfied and offered him a $250 refund, but he refused my free service and refund although he did not complain anything when we finished the job and even offered me more jobs in his new house. So, I am not sure why he is complaining now and giving me a bad review just because he is selling his house and does not want to spend money anymore on painting and repairing."
