5.0 George I. Metairie, LA
1/26/2024

The 5 star reviews said honest, efficient and timely. It just rang a bell for me so when I called friday after lunch he (Joel) told me staight up that he was booked on a job in town until mid-week and would not be availible 'til then. I said OK and would call him back. I shut off the water on friday and waited until wednesday. I called back wednesday morning and he said, "Hello George". We worked out a time and his "apprintace" (Daniel) was there right after lunch. A very nice young man. We looked at the situation, I came inside to check the dog then went back outside, Daniel was on the phone with his boss. When he got off he suggested a cheap possible fix. I said let's do it. The pipe was an old one connected to the shed which came down in Katrine, so we cut it off, changed the faucet and that did the trick ! His price was more than reasonable and Joel came by to check it all. Daniel and Joel are great guys and I'd recommend them to anybody ! Can I add a few more stars to this review ?! God bless you guys ! !

Response from Company:

Joel called me immediately on a Sunday and came at 8:00 Monday morning. That kind of customer service is rare. He was very knowledgeable and professional. It took a little longer than expected because he encountered problems and had to make 2 trips to the plumbing store. I would definitely use this business again.

I had a gas leak, they wanted to charge me $500 to unlock the gas meter because they had to get a permit. I called Jefferson Parish to see how it was going to cost them, they told me the permit was $51 and they would send someone to inspect free of charge. I understand charging around $200 but not $500. I was charged $250 for 2 hours for trying to find the gas leak which they never found. Thank God I found someone cheaper to do the job, I will never go to this company again. Please shop around because this is how they get you, I'm a single mother and I can't afford to be getting messed over like this. Bad business.

Response from Company:

I am so sorry you believe your 500 dollars is to much to file with kenner code inforcement in person including paper work and set meeting with gas company with a 4hrs window for Inspection. With your home holding pressure per parish code with gas gauge. As for your 250.00 dollar charge we disconnected meter and preformed gas test with Gage 125.00. We also spent 2hr hours trying to locate your gas leak in attic and around you home. I gave you update information on what you had going on along with dangerously ran gas fire place with no shut off valve accessible. I also gave you the option about cutting open walls TO FIND YOUR OPEN GAS LINE LEAK. You opted to get one of your friends to install electric water heater and electrical line to it . So if you beliveve 250.00 is to much for a little over 2hrs work plus 40 minutes waiting for your mother to show up with payment on invoice. I will gladly return your money and call your job a wash out. I am sorry you bought a home with gas lines open in walls. I am sorry it was not an easy Quick fix. For you to make up your own prices what you feel it should be When you have no idea of the time involved is not fair or right for we pride ourselves with fair to great prices to our customers. Please call for a prompt refund for we try to keep all our customers happy as this is our standard, Joel. 504 Parish plumbing.
