If you’re considering 58 Foundations, do yourself a favor and stop right now. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company to anyone. Their complete disregard for accountability is infuriating. At first, things appeared to go smoothly, but the illusion of competence quickly disintegrated when it came time for the building inspection. The city inspector requires a letter from the project engineer verifying that the work is safe, sound, and compliant with code. 58 Foundations flat-out refuses to provide this basic validation of their work. Why won’t they stand behind their project? Are they hiding shoddy, substandard work? As a homeowner, I’m now saddled with the mess of an open permit and no resolution in sight. This is unacceptable. If a company won’t back their work with a simple letter, what does that say about their integrity—or lack thereof? Didn't expect this kind of run around from a well established professional firm, save yourself the headache.

Great customer service and reasonably priced.

My 2-year-old waterproofing system installed by 58 Foundations let over a foot of water in the basement, 3 weeks after getting my annual maintenance. No effort to correct the problem so far.

‘58 foundations did a great job installing helical piers in the foundation of my new home. I was buying an old home and was weary of some cracks in the cinderblock walls of the basement garage. I had a structural engineer come out at assess the home and he suggested a number of helical piers and gave me a price to expect. ‘58 came out to estimate the work independently and they were right on target for the scope of the work and the price. They came out to do the work after we bought the home and did a great job. They were flexible with scheduling and the foreman, Cam, was professional and responsive when they were on the job.

I called 58 Foundations because I heard a lot of creaking in my house and wanted to ease my mind. Mark came out and helped identify a plan to add stablizers to my basement. Cam, Austin, and Jordan did the actual install. They were able to complete the job with minimal interference to my home including a stablizer that required removing some flooring and ceiling sheet rock. They were able to do this with minimal impact to the surrounding aesthetic which will make it easier to add interior design elements later on. Also, my place is a bit out of the way so I was glad that they communicated arrival time and showed up prepared with all the tools they needed. Very professional and friendly interactions with this company overall, including Sheldon in the office. I will be keeping their contact information for future needs.

Great Crew and outstanding work. From the start to finish, the crew was professional and thoroughly explained both what was needed, then exactly what was done and why. I would highly recommend this business for foundation or waterproofing needs.

Took over four weeks to get a refund on an initial order. Mostly high pressure.

Make sure the person giving the estimate explains exactly what it looks like. They did not bring their own water to mix the cement. We had to remove the water tank so that they could work and ended up hauling water from the neighbors house.
