Contacted 5 Star in Oct 2017 and he came out and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the work. He requested half payment up front and would receive the rest when work was completed. He showed up and did not compete half of the work. He left and never came back. I made 3 attempts to get him back out to my house and he never came or returned calls, I will never pay up front anything until that part of the work is done. Live and learn.

Overall terrific service and I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Ensure that measurements are taken before the person leaves if you know nothing about windows and what to expect.

Doug Morris, owner of five star home MAINTENANCE stole $4000 from me – a new widow- and did not provide the services he promised - I have used him in the past for small jobs and thought him to be a good, Christian man – – so I paid him the $4000 to help him buy the unit and he never delivered – never gave me my money back and would not return phone calls – he stole from me – he peddled around the yard , and repaired a couple of back sundeck steps with some wood he had his house – and you pressure wash my driveway and awnings, things that we had talked about doing at a later date, but never installed and unit or any duck work – started working on a duct in the bathroom but did not finish that and now I am trying to pursue him to give me back my money and he will not return phone calls or acknowledge me in anyway- he's a thief and the truth is not in him – home advisors has tell me that they have dropped him from their membership and will not allow him to use them until I am paid; my husband died July 2017 and I live alone now and I really thought that I could trust him to help me because he has been helpful in the past – –but I'm struggling and trying desperately to get my $4000 back because now I'm living on a really close income – –Do not use this man for anything! Do you research before hiring this contractor we have attempted to reach them numerous of times to have our project started and we have already paid deposit and project was never completed

Lack of communication with the customer, inability to get the work done, does not meet appointments.

Very poor service and dependability. I hired this individual in early July this year to build and stain my deck. He required me to sign a contract, pay him up front for half of the project cost and I had no problem initially doing that. He comitted to be finis2hed in ten business days. Well, after taking my money, he kept making excuses and delaying the start of the project. At the same time, he was doing jobs and projects for other customers. It took four weeks and a threat to terminate the contract before he finally hired a sub-contractor and started building my deck. And now, three weeks later, my deck is finished but still not painted. This 10 day project has taken over two months. Of course, I had to fire this contractor and hire a deck painter to finish the job. I do not recommend this company.

The work they did was fantastic but it took over a month for the to get finished and many phone calls.

Worse experience ever. The bathroom remodel went over 3 weeks over the expected date. I was told the project would be complete in 4-5 days. Project was way below expectations - I got short changed....Another remodel bathroom project is now past the suspense and can not contact the 5 Star representative. The bad thing is these bathroom projects are for people who rent these house....and now they are without a bathroom.

They came out and replaced my side door, repaired some rotted wood and the did a fantastic job at a very affordable price. The owner is very authentic, knowledgeable concerning his trade. Thanks Doug to you and your crew for a job well done!!!

They were both very personable and I would recommend them again and intend on using them when needed. Thanks guys for a great job. I feel much better about the safety of my daughter and granddaughter now!!!

They showed up said they could order the part and be back and install it. Just a wheel bearing for the dryer. I have called for 3 weeks and no reply after they got the money.

We felt very comfortable with both Doug and Paul and they really do want to please their customers.
