I had gutter failure from huge storm in KC area last weekend, which caused water to pool in front of a basement window well and led to my basement flooding. I tried calling many other gutter companies, but they all were 2-3 weeks or 2-3 months booked out. the owner of 5 Star construction came out to give a bid, and immediately said that he would take one of is crews off another project to immediately address put up the new gutters so as to avoid further flooding into my basement. He said my situation was way more urgent than his other customers. He had a crew out the very next day to put up the new 6" gutters with splash guards, and addressing some of the other minor siding repairs.

It went fine. The quality was fine. I don't remember any problems. I probably would use them in the future.

The company sent 2 workers. They installed some lights. I wanted them to do some work in my basement but they didn't do it correctly. Overall, it didn’t go well. They didn’t complete the job to my satisfaction.

I was pleased with their services. They were on time and I didn't have a problem with them. They did a good job and got it done fast.

He started the work (he finished the upper rails, the ones that required a ladder) and then it started raining so he had to leave. They never offered to come back out and complete the work that I paid for. My husband and I ended up having to finish it rest of the deck ourselves. <br /> <br />

It was a great experience. We have nothing but good things to say. He was kind and professional. His workmanship was excellent. We had him do a lot of different tasks around the home according to our to-do list.

5 Star Construction did an outstanding professional job. Keith visited the job site, took note of what we wanted, made several great suggestions, took measurements and gave us an estimated time he would be back for the install. He made frequent contact to let us know where he was in the process and arrived and installed on the agreed upon date. The workers went quietly and quickly about their job and completed it as scheduled and the finished product is just what we wanted and expected. They cleaned up and swept up after the job and left the job site as clean if not cleaner then when they started. Great job...Great people...Would definitely recommend them for others and would definitely use their services again. <br />

They removed the piece of wood in the house trim that an animal had made and replace and painted.  The work was great!  Our back patio had several loose pavers.  The pavers were secured. After a month, a couple of those pavers were loose again which is the reason for the B rating for the quality of the work. <br />

<p>Originally I purchased an Angie's Deal.  It expired before I could use it and Keith was great about honoring it.  While his crew was repairing some rotted wood on the garage, Keith came by and gave me a quote on installing vinyl siding on the garage.  I agreed with his price and the work began the next day.  He also fixed some bowed out boards around the gutters so the gutters would drain properly.</p> <br /> <br /> <p>Initially, back when I was scheduling the Angie's Deal after the due date, he was hard to get in touch with.  However, once we started this project he was always responsive and on top of things.  </p> <br /> <br /> <p>His crew, Tim & Tony, are great to work with. </p> <br />

There wasn't anything that we disliked about them. I felt very comfortable with the men that they sent, with the job that they did, and they worked full. The big deal was half day of labor, or something, and they finished the first part of it, and started on something else, which was good. We had them come back to do something else. There was a little bit of a misunderstanding on the second part of the job, and each group thought the other group was coming, but we ironed that out.

Scheduling with them was VERY difficult.  They began work months after the contract was signed.  I had to call over and over to get a start date for the project.  We love our new windows and doors but feel we were overcharged for what we got.  Our door had to be reordered 3 times due to defects and we were given a small compensation for that issue.  The crew that worked on our home was great.  They were very nice and did a great job of explaining while they went.  It took over 6 months to complete a project that could have been done in 2-3 weeks. <br />
