BUYER BEWARE:
We hired 6th Man Movers for a 3,800 sq ft move. They quoted 2 movers for 8 hours after reviewing a full video of our home. On moving day, they arrived late, understaffed, and with only one truck?then admitted they needed more crew and another truck but couldn?t provide it.
It took 8 hours to load only half our belongings, forcing a next-day move (they were late again). In the end, they tried to charge double the estimate and only reduced it by 20%. We still paid $1,000 more than expected.
Movers worked hard, but the company?s planning and operations were a mess. Proceed with caution.

Moving is tough and emotional but 6th Man movers made it an easy transition. I worked with Mr. Rood on the front end and David on moving day.. Both made the process painless. Explaining that my grandmothers items were precious to me, I could see the care David took in preparing them for the haul. You will not find a more complete moving company around and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

When The Views apartments forced us to leave because of blasting, we had to find a mover on short notice. We’d used 6th Man Movers before, so we called them on Monday, concerned that they would not have a time available by Saturday. Eric found a time open on Saturday and transferred me to Alex who scheduled them move. Excellent customer service from both these individuals. The arrival time for the move was between 1-4. Kenny and Deon texted us when they were 15-minutes out. They arrived at 1:45. They were friendly, answered our questions, and immediately began loading the truck. They were careful with the furniture and appliances yet finished quickly. Unloading involved going down a flight of stairs. Again, they were efficient, quick, and careful. We enjoyed working with them. 6th Man Movers was available when we needed them and gave us excellent service throughout the process. We have used several movers over the last five years, but none were better than or even as good as Kenny and Deon.

I have used 6th Man Movers twice for local moves and they are excellent! Today, Erik, Kamron and Quron were my moving team. They were kind, helpful, fast and efficient! This team knows what they are doing! They carefully prepped and protected all my furniture and even navigated my crazy stairs like champs! I’m so grateful for their help! I highly recommend 6th Man Movers and Erik, Quron & Kamron- what a great team! They took the time to go over my bill thoroughly too. I really appreciated this. Thank you so much!!! Cory was the coordinator for my move and he did a great job too! Alex called the day before my move to confirm everything and he was very thorough. I hope I don’t have to move in the near future, but if I do, I’m calling 6th Man Movers!

I decided on 6th Man amongst others and right away, noticed how extremely prompt and communicative prior to the move. The morning of, when I opened up our storage unit, there was loads of water damage to our belongings due to prior flooding. Moving can be one of the most stressful things to do anyway but the professionalism, customer service, and good nature of the guys that were involved (Jamarquez, Mark, Allen, and Alex) to understand, help organize, and set me at ease is why I would use 6th Man Movers anytime and would recommend them to anyone.

We needed someone to move my mother in law in a hurry as she downsized, and Markus and Nokey were so excellent!!! They took care wrapping pieces and furniture and packed her items with care, including a grandfather clock that she has had for decades! I can’t say enough good things about how helpful, sweet, polite, you name it that they were. And they didn’t dawdle at all, making sure to complete the move as fast as humanly possible!!

Very fast and smooth. I had a volatile schedule that had to be shifted and moved around many different times and '6th Man' was very flexible and helpful throughout the whole entire process. Paid for packing as well and movers did a great job packing and were careful with everything. This was my 8th move in 10 years - these were the best movers out of everyone I have had

Excellent! They called ahead, arrived within the service window, and packed our POD all within around 2 hours. We weren't sure everything was going to fit, but they worked hard to accommodate us and ended up making it all stay in the POD. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move!

Our move-in/move-out didn't line up so we had to move our entire house into storage. 6th Man provides their own truck and moved everything quickly and carefully with 3 movers and one truck. I just hired them again to move everything out of storage and into the new house. I definitely recommend them!
