We just had the heating and cooling system replaced in our home. The job was perfection from start to finish. The communication was great, always keeping us informed from the lady in the office to the sales rep to the installers. The Job was completed with no mess left behind. We also feel the pricing was very fair. We are very, very pleased!

I put in a job request the evening before our service call. Why do air conditioners always die when there is a week-long heat wave? Early morning contact from company. I was promised to be fit into that day's schedule in the afternoon if at all possible. Call back.....tech will be able to stop by at the end of his day. A third call back....tech can stop by within the next 30 minutes....he arrived just before noon! What a blessing!! He was SO nice. Explained the process and options. Answered all of my questions. Respectful of property, pets, and explained options that would save $$$. Really took into account what issues we were having and brainstormed ideas for solutions. Couldn't have been happier with the service and outcome. Thanks Thomas!!

Tom was the engineer. Excellent customer service. He was prompt and great at diagnosing the problem quickly. He clearly explained everything that he was doing and why. I called them at 705 am. He was here by 830a, and the job was done by 1030a. That included time for him to go get a part. Could not be happier.

I change my review from five stars to 3 1/2 stars because they were not willing to take the service charge off of the bill, normally if you have someone come out to give you a quote they wave the service fee if you end up having the service done, but they would not, My only suggestion is check with other places first to see if that s an option before they come out.
Response by 72 Degrees Air Conditioning & Heating, LLC: Miss Cheryl, I'm sorry that you were dissatisfied. When the call for service is set we explain that the diagnostic fee is a set price. The diagnostic fee covers the time spent driving to the home as well as the time spent in the home discovering the problem and then presenting options for solutions to the client. We need to pay for gas, insurances (72 Degrees carries $1,000,000.00 in general liability insurance), employee health care costs, vehicle payments, vehicle repairs, office space and office staff wages. Our employees working in your home are drug tested, background checked and have vehicles stocked with tools and parts to make nearly any repair required professionally and efficiently. We also stand behind our repairs with our "FIxed Right or it's FREE" guarantee and we warrantee all repairs for a minimum of 12 months. If it was a loose wire connection, bad batteries, fuse or something small like that the whole fee for service would not be too much more than the diagnostic fee. In the case of the repair we performed for Miss Cheryl there was an actual part that we needed to procure and install. We have set menu pricing for all our repairs so our fees are transparent. We do not build our pricing with the diagnostic fee added into it so that we can credit the diagnostic fee once the repair is complete. Some companies charge very low or no initial charges for coming to the home and once in the home inflate the price of their repairs to cover the real costs associated with our business. All our fees are in writing and diagnostic fee is written onto our invoice when we enter the home. I am sorry we did not effectively communicate this to Miss Cheryl. Bruce
