The crew from First Rank did a great job installing and finishing flooring in my home. The project was anything but straightforward - I had purchased a large lot of #3 oak which had to be sorted and nailed down before being stained with a weathered wood accelerator. First Rank handled the job with care and patience. I'm very pleased with with the finished product - a brand new rustic wood floor that looks like it is 100 years old.

I found The installers to be knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The project took longer than I anticipated but the floors are beautiful.

First and foremost the contractor did go above and beyond for certain task. However, that is where the praises stop. The quality of the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. Ex. Painting a surface which visibly needed to be taped, not filling in imperfection on painted surfaces. Paint splashes on nearby surfaces that wasn't cleaned up. The biggest kicker is after paying off the invoice over 3 weeks, the contractor is yet to show up to finish the outstanding work. Having play phone tag a few times, I'm yet to receive a response to any of my messages. I don't know if this is a common practice for this contractor, but I'd recommend avoiding this one.
