Steve was punctual, professional and extremely easy to work with. From the moment we set up an appointment, he kept me up-to-date via text and took the courtesy to let me know exactly when he would be here. I felt very reassured because this is his own business and therefore was meticulous about his work so I would be a return customer and I certainly will be. Great job and reasonable price!

It was easy making the appointment with Steve; he was accommodating and pleasant. We explained that we had just installed new hardwood flooring. The floor was dry, but it was not completely cured yet. Steve lifted and carried his equipment into the rooms that he would be cleaning, instead of pulling the equipment across the floors. The best part of the experience was to see how carefully and diligently he worked to get the carpets clean. The results were pretty amazing. The carpets were brought back to life and are now so clean, they remind us of when they were originally installed many years ago. We are very happy with Steve and 7th Heaven Furniture and Carpet Cleaning. Not only did they do an awesome job, but Steve is a very professional and likeable person. Even though he hasn't yet had a ton of reviews on Angie's List, we decided to take a chance with this company based on the nature of their reviews and the company's profile. I never expected the years of dirt, grime, & cat "accidents" to be removable from my berber carpet, but Steve Richards of Seventh Heaven Furniture & Carpet Cleaning performed a miracle. He was totally professional as well as personable & spent far more time than he had originally envisioned & brought my carpet back to its original shade. I will definitely use him regularly to clean my carpet & highly recommend him to anyone in the New York Metropolitan area.

I highly recommend Steve Richards and 7th Heaven to any prospective customer looking for quality furniture upholstery cleaning. I was extremely wary of hiring anyone to clean our furniture and the reason for this is due to the fact that I managed top airline lounges for many years requiring ongoing cleaning of both leather and fabric upholstery as well as carpeting. I was rarely, if ever, satisfied with any company and found most to be lacking once the sale or contract was signed. I did check with Home Advisor and saw that 7th Heaven had received very high marks for professionalism and quality of work. Steve did the job himself, and it is very obvious, that he truly wants the business and from this, returning and satisfied customers. We have two beautiful sofas, down filled, with beautiful pale blue fabric which we purchased after Hurricane Sandy destroyed our first floor. Additionally, we have two lovely wing chairs, colored ivory no less, that sit in front of our fireplace that we use VERY often during the winter. I am well versed in the cleaning method requiring solution sprayed onto fabric, then continual extraction as the dirt 'should' be removed. I am sure that many companies could say that this job we had to do would take 2-3 hours. And I have heard that many companies will spend just about this much time to get the job done..Except the dirt would still be in the cushions. Steve, working on the initial process, saw how thirsty the sofas were for water and thus the cleaning process took far longer than originally planned. He was at our home for 5-6 hours. He explained to me that the quality of the sofas required the additional time to extract the additional water/solution and he was going to continue the process until he was satisfied that the final results would be satisfactory. The results are great. It took a few days for the cushions and pillows on the sofas to dry but they look tremendous. Know that this review has gone on and on, but Steve quoted me the price when I booked the appointment and his additional hours spent were AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Again, he is working to build his business and with this work ethic and quality, he should do very well. I fully expect to hire him for an update next spring. (Our furniture had not been 'cleaned' since we purchased after Sandy, but with no young children or huge pets, still looked pretty darned clean). But I saw the dirt in the water and the difference after the cleaning. Great job, Steve.

Steve put his whole heart and soul into doing the very difficult physical and tedious labor into cleaning my carpets. He got rid of all my pet stains. Honestly, I can't praise him high enough. There truly are no words. It almost felt like a religious experience insofar as seeing how Steve poured his entire being into doing the best job possible. I could tell that customer satisfaction was high on his list. It went so well that I plan on using him again within the next couple of weeks and am looking forward to seeing him again.
