I hired him to mow and trim my hedges. It was later in the evening when he showed up and claimed he would come back to trim my hedges as he ran out of time and light. Needless to say he never did. I have no complaints with the job that was done but feel he should have been a man of his word and returned to complete the job since I paid for it. I asked for several estimates from several different companies and he showed up to do my neighbors yard and realized I had asked for a quote. I never had his number to contact him back because I did not know which company he was from. He told me he would text me his information, well I?m sure you can guess what happened or didn?t happen next. I finally got his information from my neighbor so I could prevent this from happening to anyone else. This is terrible customer service!

We hired Jacob, 817 landscaping to perform a spring clean up, remove a flower bed and install sod. We also hired him to perform weekly landscaping service which he calls yard of the month program. Mow edge blow. Weed, trim hedges and monthly irrigation check. The spring clean up was not truly done. The sod installed is uneven and needs to be redone. The weekly service could have been done better by a five-year-old. Weeds were not pulled the lawn was barely mowed due to mowers in complete disrepair. blowing the clippings consisted of blowing them back in the grass. Irrigation checks were never done. Hedges only trimmed after Calling to complain. Whenever I called Jacob the owner to complain I was told we will make it right. That never happened. In fact, he stopped returning calls and text. Recently his voice mailbox message says mailbox is full. This guy is a rip-off. Please do not be fooled by 5-star reviews. They must all be friends and family members. Trust the other ½ stars as the absolute truth.

Jacob of 817 Landscaping came out to give me an estimate the next day after I called. He was very professional and his price was very reasonable. The next day 3 guys came to install 2 pallets of sod for me. They, too were very professional and polite . They sod, itself, was very green and fresh looking. It’s been a month now and thanks to the watering schedule Jacob gave me, my sod looks great. I would highly recommend this company !

I used this company for a re sodding job on my front yard. The quality of work was pathetic! I contacted Jacob, the owner, via phone on several occasions as I was out of town. He promised he'd "make it right". When I got home from out of town, the job was still horrible. Areas with missing sod, my water meter cover was sodded over, my controls for my irrigation system were sodded over, the ground was not prepped correctly so I was unable to open my back gate as the sod was laid on top of the existing grass/weeds. Huge gaps between the sod squares. We made an appointment for the next day for him to come out to see first hand the issues. Again, he said he wanted to make it right. He failed to show. No phone call, no text. Nothing. I texted him letting him know he was fired. He never reached back out to me! Most horrible job ever! I now have to bring someone else in to fix it.

I hired him to come out and put in St Augustine Sod. He came out and quoted me and set a date for the job. He did not show up on the date he set. He showed up a few days later with sod that was brown and dying. He showed up to do my neighbor's yard the next day and gave him sod that was much fresher and more alive. When I asked him why his was in much better condition and he said for me to keep watering it. I tried to water it but a few days later it still looked like it was dying and I tried to contact him again.I called and texted him with no response for a month. Only after I threatened to sue did he say he would be there Saturday to deliver new sod. He did not show up that day and has not tried to contact me. Whatever you do don't hire him! If you have any type of issue you will not be able to contact him. He basically stole my money.

They did everything I asked them to do. They told me there would always be a supervisor on the property while the work is being done. I also hired them to do the weekly lawn maintenance.

SODed Most of our front yard and back. Very attentive to detail. Very well mannered crew. Very professional, even tolerated an annoying neighbor with great patience. Very reasonably priced. Great job, would hire again and recommend.

He showed up on time for appointment, prices were very fair, listened when I told him what I wanted, came and did job when I wasn't even home. So impressed I gave him a $30 tip. Have contracted with him and have told friends about him. Thank you for recommending him.

I hired 817 to install some sod for my yard. The professional said that he would be there at 9:00am and when I showed up at 8:30 he was actually almost done with the installation. I was very impressed and have contracted with them to help with another project.

They did an excellent job and were very respectful I would highly recommend them and will use them again

Came right away and picked up leaves and mulched in a timely manner. Great friendly guy. Plan on keeping him
