911 Handy Home Service

I totally agree with Tom. This has been our experience -- except no one ever came back to begin the repair. Paid for parts up front, and after numerous attempts to contact them, we bought a new appliance rather than wait (it is been 3 months to this point) any longer. I was very disappointed and, we too, feel scammed.

SCAM ALERT!!- DO NOT HIRE!! - BEWARE!! On Monday 9/20/21, Len OBanion contacted me from 911 handy home service. I put a request online through Home advisor. I looked at all of the companies reviews and many are listed at a 5 Star rating and said they would hire him again. So I agreed to meet him the next day on my lunch break. After five or 10 minutes of looking at the items I need done, He said this would be a simple job and no problem to complete. The very next morning, he told me he would be here at 9 AM to start working. Exactly at 9 AM, his son comes to the door asking me for payment before they can start the project. He said they would not start until they had money down. I gave them $391 in cash and asked for a receipt or copy of my invoice. He told me they would email me the copy and I would have it later that afternoon. Len leaves and drives away in his fancy red truck (this is where I got sucked into the black hole) his son starts to work on the few smaller items first. Has problems doing simple handyman work, after 15-20 minutes he comes to the door and says he needs to leave to go to Home Depot to get additional supplies. I asked when he will be back, he said it should take no more than an hour but he will be back to finish up the project. Neither one of them came back the rest of the day and after texting and calling multiple times, he told me he will be at the first thing in the morning on Wednesday to finish up the project. So needless to say, nothing was completed until Friday morning. He shows up almost 2 hours late. Not only does he bring his son, but I think he brings his mother! I asked again if they were going to complete the project? If not, Please give me my overpayment I gave in advance of work that he has not even completed. The mother assures me herself that it will be taken care of and they will be finished up today. I finally see him bringing out a small chisel hammer and a small handheld grinder. I swear I was looking at the three stooges, the mother and Len kept pointing to the son what to do, after chipping up and making my sidewalk worse, they all three of them get in the truck and leave after 30 minutes of actual working. After several attempts to contact him, send messages, leave voicemails, He is refusing to respond or reply to my messages or voicemails. The best way to describe this individual is a â SCAMMERâ !!! I thought I did my due diligence of looking at several reviews from other people, Not only have I lost money by hiring this company, but now I have to hire another company to fix the chipped up concrete and this companys damage. I want everyone in the Tri-Cities to know how Len OBanion and his family scammed me and did their best to try to get more money from me. Thankfully, I only bumped my head by hiring them in the first place, but at least I didnt fall off of the back of a truck and crack my head wide open otherwise I wouldve lost thousands of dollars more and nothing will be completed. due to Home Advisor policies, I can not have my phone number here for you to contact me, hopefully I can help you from making the same mistake I did. Check out the photos and youll see that his license has been suspended from the department of labor and industries, dont believe me just go to the website and look for yourself.

do not hire this person to do any handy work on your home, it will be destroyed. says he is a supervisor, works 2 hours and leaves kids to do the job but they do not know.. they should not be unsupervised.

He does not meet his time schedule. He does not come back when he says he will. He took on other jobs while doing mine. Than he finishes the other job first. Leaving mine not finished.

Robert did an outstanding job and was honest and friendly and quite a gentleman. In fact I would like to hire robert again in the future he was professional and went above and beyond the call of duty and I want to hire him again when I need more repairs done

I needed 2 hose bibs replaced, one pipe in crawl space & one inside wall! 911 was very courteous and prompt! They explained everything that they were going to do an then did it it Great. CB leaned up afterwords. Their service cost was definitely reasonable! I would Highly give my recommendation!

The only thing that I disagreed with was they arrived with no masks which I was able to supply to them

Very prompt response and did an excellent job.

The contractor sent his son to fix an outside faucet. After three visits were unable to fix the problem so I had to fix it myself. He charged me $155 and refused to provide a refund. Each time he worked on it the job increased in scope and cost to the point he wanted to remove the price of the wall. I fixed it for less than @35.I would never hire this company and consider it to be a fraud. The son was not a plumber.
