They came the same day I called and repaired the garage . I thought the repair which took less than an hour was very pricey. ( $800.00)

It took 15 minutes to adjust spring and spray oil on the tracks and the cost was $269 dollars. The work did not justify to cost.

The gentleman who performed the repair was very professional and did a great job repairing my garage door. Was also very safety minded. Would recommend this company.

A1 installed my garage door a couple of months ago. They are the third contractor I've dealt with for these installations, and I have to say hands down that A1 was the absolute best. They walked me through the options the equipment as well as performed a very professional installation of the garage door. Visibly better than the other contractors I hired a couple of months ago. Highly recommend them!

I have 40 year old garage doors. The motor on one of the doors finally died. Affordable Door contacted me immediately after I placed the request on Home Advisor and gave me a quick estimate appointment. Jimmy came out the next day and worked really hard to resolve some issues that came up during the installation of the new motor. He would not leave until everything was resolved and working perfectly. He did an awesome job and I would recommend him and the company in the future. Thanks Jimmy!

We had a great experience with this Company. Out of 4 or 5 companies that I contacted, they were the only ones who called me today they came right out, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and came back (as promised) in the evening after dropping off supplies and finished the job in less than 24 hours from the time I called. Mike was amazing. Within 30 seconds of seeing our door, he pointed out what needed to be fixed and told me we did NOT need a full door replacement which saved us thousands of dollars. My garage door is working better than it did the day we moved in and is much quieter too. I highly recommend this company. VERY professional, didn't try to sell me more than we needed, and customer service #1. You don't get that anymore, but they provide it!!! Stop looking!

Can't answer the last question. I have no way of determining the value for money

Ali showed up on time and completed the task for the price quoted. A very personable chap, and a pleasure to deal with. The problem was a cable had broken, and I though after 25 years all four should be replaced. Ali told me about the "new" safety cables, and he installed them and two new springs on one door in about an hour. He took the old parts to be recycled.

They came late on a Friday night and did the repair right then, for a reasonable price.

The project involves two tasks 1) replace two torsion springs as one of spring is broken. 2) One of door panel had dent (hit by a vehicle). This created bent on the panel and causing noise when the door is operated. The initial quote given was ( $375 + $125) but work is done at price of $400. The person ( Alex) is expert in fixing Garage doors not a typical handyman. He installed two long door struts near the dent area. with this, door became rigid and eliminated noise. I raised concerned that the additional struts might add some weight to the door. He then used a thicker spring of .218 instead of .207 or something( original spring size). The door is quite and looks great now. It is 17 years old two car garage door. Hope the door can survive longer. Yes, he wrote a note with project details on the invoice.

The actual cost was twice as much as the quote over the phone. Also, I forgot to ask and did not receive a receipt / warranty information.

I would have preferred an actual warranty document rather than just a note on the invoice.
