A1-American Construction

Recently had my stone mailbox get run over by a careless driver and I happened to see Will down the street repairing a neighbors brick mailbox (also hit by a car, it's a problem on this street haha). Anyway, I pulled over my car and stopped him in the middle of work to ask if he could do my mailbox too. He was so gracious about me essentially ambushing him during work and immediately offered to stop by my house later the same day and give me a quote. He was able to come out the very next morning and was even more gracious when my husband decided to change things up last minute and asked Will to essentially do a full rebuild instead of just a mortar patch up. He even brought it up to code, which the original never was, even before getting hit. The rebuild is gorgeous, solid, and I'm not ashamed to go out and be seen grabbing my mail anymore! Great artisan, prompt responder, and very clearly a wonderful small business owner and family man. Highly recommend him and his business!

Will responded same day and started the project the next day! He offered in writing a 5 year warranty. Two days after completing seal deck / patio coating there were over a dozen bubbles!!! I contacted Will and he said 'Relax' I'll stop by and scrape and repaint. That was over a week ago! I do not recommend A1 Construction. He did not grind and remove all previous coatings. Bubbles are all over. We are getting another estimate. Disappointed.

Will, the owner did the work himself. Excellent execution, on time with great price. What was also amazing is his commitment to not over buy the product so it won’t cost me more money, he had to go on an extra trip to buy more after he finished the first batch. Very honorable man and true to his word. Thank you Will .

He completed everything the sane day we talked and provided before and after pics. Very good hire!

Will was on of the more affordable options. He said he was going to cut and sand down concrete and did not since there was risk of cracking.

Charged a fair price, did quality work, and got done quickly

A1 (Will) assisted in the design, stone selection, and overall work to build a platform to house a pool pump, new sidewalks, and new patio in my front yard. Will and crew are easy to work with and willing to listen and take on all questions without complaint. Very satisfied. This my second hire for A1 and will hire again the future.

A1-American Construction did a great job removing a defective stone bench, replacing the flag stone, leveling a large paved area, and repairing several walkways. Will (owner) gave me a fair quote, arrived on the date we agreed to, completed the work in 2-days as promised, and followed up to ensure I was satisfied. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I will use A1-American Construction again in the future.

It was a pleasure doing business with Will and A1-American Construction. I needed a very thick piece of concrete slab removed so I called Will and he came out the very next day. I was off-site for the project but he kept me updated with the progress. I was informed ahead of time when he was going to arrive and gave me a good estimate of the time it would take to complete. The work was very professional and the quote was far more reasonable than other contractors I contacted. I highly recommend A1-American Construction for any concrete and masonry needs.

My project was to build a stone mailbox to replace my old one that was falling apart. Will and helper did a terrific job in a very reasonable time frame. Very professional and efficient. I would hire him again if I have similar projects. Highly recommend this company!

Will was very polite and efficient. He cleaned up after the job was done. He kept his promise and did what he said he would do.

Bill and his crew did an excellent job on my stone walls that needed repairs. The job was completed as promised. They cleaned up after everyday they were here. I would use them again if ever needed.

Will was very prompt giving us the estimate and got the job done in a short period of time. His workmen were to repoint existing flagstone in some places and do some repair of some of the flagstones. However they used a chalk white mortar and did not try to match the existing mortar where work had been previously done. I'm not happy with that look. When I mentioned that to Will he said don't worry that in two months it would change color when it gets dirty. I don't think it will ever blend with what's already there.

On time and well supervised. Will called and explained the project.

William does great work; took the time to explain what he was going to do and provided great information on how long we needed to let the stones dry before using them.. They were very professional and cleaned up after they were done. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
