A1 required 2 separate work days to install my Liftmaster Premium Series myQ Opener. The first day I watched the entire installation with an experienced technician and a trainee. I thought they knew what they were doing, because they worked quickly, but also complained about having to drive out of their normal territory to do my installation. As they were removing the boxes and old parts, I was waiting for them to return and explain the new opener. As I heard their truck start up, I ran out and asked them to show me how the opener worked. The trainee only took a minute to show me how to open the garage with the wall opener, and the two workers drove away. Later in the day, I received a 29 point inspection report that was filled with errors. For example, the weight test was never completed and and several pictures that were intended to show my garage door operation were actually pictures of my neighbor's garage. 3 days later, A1 sent someone else to finish the incomplete job.

We had Erick Parks from A1 Garage Door Service perform some pretty extensive maintenance and repairs on our doors (that had not been looked at by a professional in ten years). Erick was fantastic. He was hugely knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and walked me through everything that needed to be done in detail. It was a more expensive job than I expected, but based on his knowledge and how he explained everything the scope of work made perfect sense. Erick’s work was first-class, and I’d recommend him and A1 to anyone without reservation.

A1 installed my garage doors almost 6 years ago so I figured it was time for a check up. James Winter the tech pointed out two issues with the double door springs and support. He worked with me in getting the financing in place and then completed the work. Needless to say it was hot, but he did a great job. Kudos to James and A1

DO NOT use this company under any circumstances. We went with them and paid $2,000 for a new garage door opener. We paid this amount because we were told we would have a lifetime warranty on it. After we paid and signed everything, the technician said oh we can?t honor the warranty unless you upgrade your springs for $800-1200 more because your door is too heavy. So we asked them to take it down as we only paid this much to receive the warranty. We were told to wait for the technician to talk to his manager. After a lot of back and forth they are unwilling to do anything and stated all sales are final. Upon talking to some coworkers, they had a the same or similar experience. DO NOT USE THEM. You will regret it.

Kind, funny techs (Justin, Cannot recall the other guy) honest with me regarding my situation, explained things at a technical level j could understand.

The contractor was not fully honest on discussing all fees, he was more concerned with upselling and would not install the product that they offered they would install.

I received a text when Jesus was on his way. He explained everything and all of our options and pricing. He did a 29 point inspection. Once again, gave us upfront prices. Fortunately he was able to fix the problem and get the new remotes working even though our Genie motor is very old.
