Great customer service and responsiveness

Fixed our window fast and at a good price

Someone threw a corona beer bottle at our garage window and broke it. The window is frosted and double pane. I went online to Home Advisor to look for a glass company. I picked two companies because I wanted two estimates. A-1 is the first company to call me and I decided to go with them right away because of the courtesy I received on the phone from Alisha. I scheduled an appointment for that day and Tom came out and measured. He took a piece of glass with him so he could match it. It took a little over a week to get the glass ordered, then Alisha called and we set up another appointment for Tom to complete the job. I highly recommend this company. A-1 Glass Shower Door Co. is A-1 :) -- a family owned business and everyone is very respectful, cordial, helpful and knowledgeable. When I first saw their name I almost passed them up but upon reading some reviews I figured out they fix all kinds of windows. I'm glad I did choose this company. As for the other company, they never called! Can you believe that? Good job A-1 Glass. God bless you and thank you.

First, A-1 Glass Shower Door is one of the few local glass companies that works on wood-casing pane replacement, and they did a great job! (Post area clean-up could be improved as noticeable debris was left behind.) On the same job ticket, a second replacement pane (garden window) resulted in an unforeseen small crack a few days after installation. As this was courteously remedied with another replacement, the replacement work required follow-up phone calls on my behalf to ensure the project was still progressing (replacement glass ordered/received & scheduling of technician). Albeit the office support was courteous & professional, their Customer Service rating would have been easily 5-stars had follow-up phone calls not been needed. (Suggestion to A-1 Glass Shower Door: For in-progress jobs, establish a protocol to send status communications after 'x' amount of time.)

It took a few phone calls to get status updates and get visits scheduled, but the they did a great job replacing my broken window. Tom and Joe did the work, they were very considerate and helpful.

A-1 glass is a very small outfit, and so will have problems sometimes with scheduling; because if somebody is out sick, then they are impacted greatly. (This was my only real complaint. Technician did not come when originally scheduled for the initial appointment, which had be quite wary at first.) The owner, Joe, is a good man, and is trying to right for his customers, which helps.
