A-1 Overhead Garage Door

Ed was great to deal with from the point we picked a door through the 1-day install. Ed explained the difference in quality between each door and the insulation value. When we saw the cost associated with the higher insulation value we chose the higher quality door, the cost was minimal. Ed told us when he expected the door to arrive and also that the installation would take 1 business day. The door was more than what we expected, and Ed did a quality job with the installation. Ed did not try and upsell us into a new motor or new brackets.... Ed was honest and knowledgeable throughout the entire process... I would recommend him to anyone.

Had a double wide garage door installed by Ed at A1. Great experience overall. Quote the next day, was told 2 to 3 weeks for the customized door to arrive. Exactly 3 weeks later a call to schedule the install. Install was very smooth, taking about 5 hrs totaland we are extremely happy with the door. Thank you Ed!

Ed and his team were fantastic! They quickly addressed the problem with our garage door and fixed it in a timely fashion. Responsive, helpful, and affordable. Can't recommend them enough.

We had Ed and team replace our rotting garage door. Ed and team did a fantastic job from the first quote all the way to the installation. Him and the team were communicative, punctual, and ensured that any questions I had were answered. I highly recommend A1 overhead garage door! Also the price was affordable as well.

Top-notch service from start to finish. They were out super fast and did Great work, they were also super professional, and easy to work with. Highly recommend to anybody in need of Garage Door repair/Service

Came on time and did the job. Excellent guy and I would call him again

One side of my garage door roller spring & cable were broken and Ed gave me a recommendation to replace both sides as the other side seemed to be cracking as well and would have broken soon. The light sensors on my garage door were not installed properly before. Also, I had an old keypad that would open only my 2nd older garage door. Ed suggested reinstalling the light sensors in proper place as well as changing outside keypad to a more modern one that can open/close either of the 2 garage doors from outside. I took him up on all those recommendations and he did a fine job in less than an hour to fix up the whole thing and demonstrate to my satisfaction. Ed was was very neat and professional and cleaned up after his work was completed. He was very reasonably priced too and had all the needed parts in stock in his truck! I would certainly recommend A-1 Door to anyone considering repairs/replacement of their Garage doors.

Easy to work with.

Very knowledgeable and professional service

Incredibly easy to work with. Estimated while we were at work, was in touch quickly, and performed repair of our garage springs quickly and without any hassle. An absolute breeze to work with and we'd hire A-1 again in a heartbeat. The garage was even lubricated and some of the tracks were bent back into shape - over and above the original ask. Can't ask for better!

Ed was a very friendly, polite professional. Spent extra time helping me program my iPhone so as to operate door opener remotely. Would highly recommend Ed for both reasonable price and workmanship.

Held back 0.5 star only because the work was preventative in nature and not really a challenge so difficult to fully rate the quality and value.

Very prompt courteous service and work completed on time.

Responded immediately and did the work the following day Did a great job.

Ed from A-1 Overhead Garage Door was responsive and took care of the issue with our door quickly.

My garage door was not closing properly. He arrived on time, charged exactly what he quoted, and fixed my door. He also provided some tips to keep my garage doors running smoothly going forward. Service was friendly and excellent.

A-1 Overhead Garage Door is a small local business. Ed Davey, the owner, is very professional and informative. He called in advance of the scheduled appointment. He explained how to lubricate the garage door and how to extend life of the springs. Strongly recommended!

The owner is excellent. He responds, walks you through any needs and explains clearly. Then he does the job quickly. All costs associated were explained so there were no surprises. I highly recommend.

After initially online getting an appointment two days away to fix a broken garage door cable, I called the next morning to see if an earlier opening was available. They called back shortly that they adjusted their schedule and could come in less than two hours. Repair work was done well.

Ed was prompt, efficient and not only fixed the problem but made sure we know how to prevent future problems.
