Zach purchased and delivered the supplies. I paid him half of the Labor. He is now refusing to complete the job and is unable to return the money given to him to cover the labor. Do not hire him. He is a thief and a cheat.

Zach did not complete the job per the contract, which included finishing hanging drywall, finishing mud/tape drywall, textured walls and ceiling, painting, laying the floor, and staining/laying stair treads and risers. The job was quoted to be done in 13 days. During the 2nd week, the quality of the work came into question due to the mud/tape not being done appropriately. After that, Zach started stating that he might not want to complete the job per the contract and requesting more funds from the payment that was due at project completion. When this request was denied, Zach walked off the job and has not returned nor answered phone calls or texts. We are now left with a job that is not even 50% done, the quality of work that was completed is not good and we are out thousands of dollars that he was paid upfront. Beware, please avoid to avoid our same headache.
