Alisher and his team did a wonderful job installing new kitchen, floors and remodeling small bathroom. Everyone on a team was a pleasure to be around. Team kept our house as clean as possible and everything was done in agreed upon time. Alisher was very responsive and addressed all our questions and concerns. We couldn’t have asked for better experience.

Working with A1 Renovations was very easy and straight forward. I really appreciate how quick and transparent they were. Everything from the initial estimate to the finished product took only a few days. The guys stayed late on the last date to make sure it was done and did a fantastic job! Would totally recommend them.

We used A1 to do a home renovation including walls, floors, custom countertops and cabinets. The owner is responsive. As the homeowner you will be responsible for ensuring the work is completed to your standards and communicate any needed adjustments along the way. A1 solved the problem of moving furniture as they worked, so we didn’t need to worry about movers. They also were great about making space available in the home during the process so we could avoid hotel costs. However there were issues to note. First, the crew had to be tightly managed to ensure work gets done correctly. The plumbing work is questionable at best. I had to call my own plumber to fix the garbage disposal leak they left that would have leaked into the downstairs unit had I not put a liner under the sink.

We hired A-1 Renovations to do some renovation work on a Condo we own. The scope of work included painting the entire condo, removing an existing laminate wood floor and underpayment, installing a new laminate wood floor, vapor barrier and baseboard trim, a few additional minor repairs, and a deep cleaning. A-1 Renovations was timely, responsive to any issues, professional, respectful, and the quality of their work was excellent. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

August 2026: A-1 was contracted to update our 26 years old kitchen. The company did not disappoint. We have a beautiful modern warm kitchen. A-1 has the best crew, each person is very skilled and able to perform different tasks. The entire crew was professional,respectful, friendly and cleaned up each day. I enjoyed working with each one. The project manager was a delight to work with, as he was very accommodating and worked with the crew to ensure that our expectations were met. The kitchen is beautiful and the workmanship is of very high quality. Alisher was available when questions arose and his input was required to move the project forward. A-1 Renovations is a contractor whose workmanship is of the highest quality and does not cut corners. We appreciate the effort; love the kitchen and would definitely contract with them in the future!! A-1 Renovations exceeded my expectations for my project of extracting old caulking and replacing with new caulking on my multitude of windows. New caulking was critically needed as the aged caulking was drying and separating. Other painters would just caulk over the old which would not be as effective as remove and replace. When Alisher was visiting my property for the purpose of looking at another project, I casually asked him about caulking my windows and he said his company could do this. I was more than thrilled. My other project is still in the works but Alisher broke the quote out for the windows to get done in the very near future. On May 19, his crew showed up and started work. Removing the old caulk proved to be a huge challenge which the team conquered without hesitation. The team labored continuously for 2 days until the job was complete. A-1 Renovations is a company dedicated to getting the job done in a timely, professional manner and ensures that the Customer is satisfied and that the work met the Customer’s requirements. The team was professional, skilled and used techniques to accomplish the project efficiently; worked continuously without interruption and understood the assignment. Alisher visited to ensure that work was proceeding and compliant with the sow. I appreciated A-1 Renovations’ dedication to completing everything as required and with great expertise. Our next project is in the works and I will definitely use A-1 Renovations services again! I enjoyed working with the team!

We paid $32,000 to have the flooring redone, but the workmanship is poor and unacceptable. They also damaged my dish washer. The contractor has stopped responding to our emails and calls and has made it clear they are not willing to correct the defects. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I intend to pursue legal action to recover my damages. In addition, I will file a formal complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC).

They were prompt professional very clean during the process I am looking forward to them doing more home projects for me! Great work

A-1 Renovations LLC did an awesome job rebuilding my mudroom and painting my entire house interior as a result of a fire that occurred. Alisher and his team are professional and great at their craft! I would highly recommend this company and will contract with them again for additional projects!

Professional job -very happy with the results

As a veteran DIY painter, I took on an ambitious painting project upon moving into our new home. I wanted a gold sheen color in our dining room and formal living room and found Valsparâ s Brilliant Metals gold leaf paint. Application requires a two-step process and special rollers must be used. Having done many types of wall treatments over the years, I thought this would be a simple and fun project. Wrong. The results were awful. This was not the DIY for me. Enter A-1 Renovations LLC, who completed two rooms in two days. The results were stunningâ ¦ far better than we expected. I was amazed at the quality of their work. They are clearly highly skilled in their trade craft and made excellent recommendations throughout the process. A-1 is experienced, professional, and affordable. Iâ m having A-1 handle our future projects: add trim work to the dining room, crown molding in the great room, painting of other rooms and possibly some electricalâ ¦they do it all!

A-1 Renovation added beautiful chair railing and shadow boxes on the first floor. Their work is excellent and it shows. Very professional and nice to work with. We would recommend them very highly.

They have excellent painters who know their job

I needed to have wall paneling removed and drywall & installation installed in my family room. I contacted several contractors referred by friends and other home owners in my area. I sat-up appointments with them and 1) they didn't show-up, 2) they showed up 3 hrs later, 3) it took them 3-4 days before they gave me a cost estimate for the work and 4) very high cost. I later contacted Home Advisory, but didn't get quick responses or they asked me questions I didn't know like how much drywall I needed, which of course I didn't no. Then I contacted Angie's List not aware that they shared contractors but never the less, I received a call the same day from A-1 Renovations, LLC. I told him (the caller) what I needed done and he came either the same day later in the afternoon or the next day. They gave me a cost to do the job, the exact same day while standing in my family room and when they could start the work. I excepted ! Very glad I did because my family room is beautiful. The drywall, painting, crown molding and new baseboard and recess lighting is absolutely beautiful. They started the project on time, showed up at the same time daily, their clean-up was perfect and most of all finished in a timely matter. I'm signing another contract for other work that's needed in my home with them. Plus they have GREAT designing ideas if you're not sure about something such as how to dress a wall or large space. I gave them a 4 star rating not just because of the cost and the work they did so beautifully, but also because they kept their word by keeping their promise to come to my home the same day on time and gave me an estimate/cost for the project that I called them about and above all, they were trustworthy. A-1 Renovations was excellent to work with form the beginning to the end. The owner, Alisher, took the time to walk through our home and identify everything that we wanted done. He also made observations of some areas and suggestions of how they could be corrected with little quickly with no additional cost. After the walk through, Alisher constructed the quote their in our home and we discussed it together. The final product was well done and looked amazing. We would recommend A-1 Renovations to anyone that wants the job done correctly and for the right price. We will use them again in our next home after our move. Great job guys.

The team at A-1 Renovations was prompt, reasonably priced, and easy to reach. Very responsive. I'm very pleased with the work they did on my home. We have since used them on other home projects.

A-1 did some painting for me at my condo: all ceilings, crown molding, door frames, doors, baseboards, entire master bedroom and master bath. Their staff of painters were exceptional and quick.
