The unfortunate thing is the prices do cost more than they did years ago as is the same with any product you can buy. This part we can not control. I received multiple quotes from different companies and A-1 Seamless Gutters blew the others out of the water with their affordability. Customer service and communication were great and service was timely. The gutters look beautiful on my new home. The colors match perfectly, they were done in 1 afternoon, and you would never know they were here. I definitely recommend them.

Recently moving from out of state and NOT knowing a reputable contractor, I was referred to this company to repair the 20+ ft. suffit on my roof that had blown off. I called the first week of October for an estimate which was reasonable. I was told the work would be completed the week of the 27th. I would receive a call a few days prior. By Oct 31, no call came. When we called, they had the excuse of too much rain caused a delay. They then said they would be out to do the work on Nov 3. Again, no one showed or called. My husband called and was told that a guy never showed for work and the scheduler didn't come to work. Therefore, they were unable to call us to notify us of yet another delay. We were then told they would definitely be out on Nov 6. Today, Nov 6 at 4pm, no one showed or called. I called their office and spoke with Dave. He said something must've been held up on another job but he's not sure because he's in the office. I asked if that means the work would be completed tomorrow. He said "I cannot promise you the world, our company is built on reputation." I find this highly unlikely. A reputable company is built on good customer service and communication. I feel that because it was only a repair order we were given less regards. Little does this company know, we were also looking for a company to place gutters on our home. Knowing how this company operates, I would never hire a company that cannot produce. We were told that we were scheduled to have this work completed, yet, no one showed. In turn, we have exposed wood on our home that could in turn cause damage of rot. It would have been considerate had the company been kind enough to tell us they were not interested in repairing our home. I could've found a contractor willing to complete the job in a more timely manner. I would never recommend A-1 Gutter. Terrible customer service.

"Lisa, I am very sorry you feel this way. You were due to be done during a week that we had four rain days. We were trying to do as many jobs as we could to catch up from the lost days. The day you called the office at 3:00 you were on the truck to get done. After you canceled the job, I called my guys, they were in your driveway when I told them to leave. When we have days of rain in a row, the whole schedule does get disturbed. All I can do is work to get it caught up. I do wish you the best of luck getting this done and even with this review I would be happy to help."
