A-1 Tank Removals and Installations

Call for a quote to abandon my 30 year plus year old oil tank as I converted to gas! Within a day or two Pete showed up and gave me a competitive quote! I got several other prices and one contractor wasn't even going to do the job according to the proper procedure. They arrived on time and date scheduled and Joe one of the owners showed up to make sure everything was done correctly!

Went with A1 because they gave the cheapest quote and one of the few companies that actually call you back. Needed to have an old buried oil tank abandoned. Other than a mix up on the day they were coming, everything went smoothly. Start to finish took about 90 minutes and they'll handle the permitting for you.

The two men came in did everything that they needed to do to take out the oil tank. they removed about 75 gallons of oil they didn't spill any at all cleaned up everything left the house spotless. Great job

Quick, clean, and customer-friendly. They answered questions and showed an interest in all of our conerns. They worked with us to abandon an underground tank and replace it with an outside/above ground oil tank.

The team of three arrived on time and immediately started draining the old tank in the basement. The new tank was brought in turned up on end to make maneuvering easier. The piping for the old tank was removed and the tank was sawed in half for removal. The new tank was installed and the oil, less about 30 gallons (containing the sludge), was pumped back in. Through-foundation access for pipes was re-cemented and furnace was re-started. All told, the job took about 4 hours. No complaints, new tank looks great.
