As the homeowners of a recent project you worked on, we are extremely disappointed in the work you were hired to do. Your lack of communication and organization has led to delayed completion of the project, additional expenses for materials and frustration on our part. Your lack of honestly and continued lies have caused us to lose faith in your ability to complete the job in a timely and accurate manner. You continued to show no respect for our home, our property, our budget or us as homeowners. You were given the final deadline of May 29. Completion was defined and you failed to meet this. At 12:09 am May 30, 2017 (already past deadline) you sent a text stating, “we are exhausted have to work in the am. Be back tomorrow for final touch ups. We arrived at the house at 6:20 am May 30, 2017 and here is a list of basic items found  Porch light not working (was at the start of project)  Ceiling fan/light in dining area not working (was at beginning of project)  Lights/fan in living room not working (was at beginning of project)  Bathroom walls by shower not painted  New ceiling fan in bedroom there is a delay when turned on between fan and light  No light in walk in closet, supposed to be old fixture looks like recessed, not hooked up  Paint in bedroom and bathroom not acceptable  Wiring hanging out of attic  Damage by door to garage  Walls to tub not positioned correctly, not caulked  Ceiling chipping where you put new stuff up  Broken blind  Whole in wall where tub and wall meet  No rug runner at entry into bedroom, carpet comes up  Did not paint behind vanity, shows all the way down the wall  New baseboards in bath not installed properly, small piece right at entry, should have been hidden behind toilet  Plumbing not hooked up under vanity  Light bulb missing in vanity  Baseboards in bedroom not matching  Delay in ceiling fan and light in bedroom, supposed to be on 2 different switches  Extra bedroom still full of materials  Materials to return not boxed up  Covers missing on switches  Paint drops on kitchen floor  All trash not hauled off  Recessed lights not put in correctly, as there is a ring of light around them, do not fit correctly  Vents not checked nor have electrical sockets been at time of this letter We would like to note that we are pleased with the design you came up with for the project. Our only positive recommendation we can provide is that you are an acceptable framer. Due to your failure to communicate and to keep your word, and complete the project in a satisfactory manner we are unable to provide a positive recommendation for your services, but feel it is important to provide this honest feedback so others do not find themselves in the same situation we are.
