They came said will do the job for 1100 then opened my roof and wanted 800 more. Agreed to 650, but the issue was never resolved. My roof still leaks in the same spots.Said will come back on Sunday to look, no call no show. They have not resolved anything, need my money back.

My original quote was $1500 to take care of a couple of leaks, that $1500 turned into $3700 since I was told that there was some rotted wood and to guarantee that the leaks would be taken care of properly the rotted wood would have to be replaced and all the shingles would have to be removed and replaced, I wish I was told this from the beginning when I was given the quote. I kind of felt that I was scammed. My husband would’ve normally taken care of this problem, but since he was diagnosed with cancer he can no longer do these kind of jobs since the cancer treatment affected his legs, so I had to hire someone. I thought it was kind of expensive since it was only for one quarter of my entire roof, I have a split level home and the leaks were in the upper level front of the house. They took three days to finish the job, which I thought was too long, but I was just happy to get it done, other than that they did a nice job, and they left everything clean once they were finished.

The gave me a reasonable estimate and performed the work the week of 8/27/2018. However, in the process they ruined my neighbor's retention wall and didn't reinstall gator guards back on my roof, as we agreed and we paid in full. The worst thing is the leak around the skylight, which is still not repaired after almost two months, after multiple calls to the office. It was a terrible experience. I would advise to stay away from this business.

Came out gave a quote of 1500.00 to repair some brick steps. When workers arrived price goes up to 4,600. I talk to the the person who initially quoted me and they come down 2,600. They go get 80 bricks and 4 bags of cement. The work looks horrible. Felt like I was taken on this one.

They were very quick and worked on a holiday, which saved me from losing a day of work.

We dealt with Nick throughout the project. A bunch of shingles flew off our roof from a recent storm, we got a call from Nick the same day we put in request from Home Advisor. We always get at least 3 estimated for all projects -Nick came out next day and gave us the most thorough estimate compared with the other 2 companies. Also gave us a quote which was the exact amount our insurance company quoted (score!). This tells us he wasn't overcharging. Nick and his crew came out on SUNDAY of Labor Day weekend to put new shingles on, now that's dedication to your company. Crew did great work and cleaned up the area nicely. We recommend for roofing!

I hired AAA Apex (Lis # 13VH08522500) to fix a leak in my roof. Their representative Nick, examined the roof and gave me a fair estimate for the repair. $700. It was the lowest of three I contacted. I signed the contract with them. But when they actually started the job and opened the leaking part, Nick called me at work and stated that wood under shingles was all rotten and they wonâ t be able to repaired it. The entire section of the roof (600 sq. ft. per his estimate) must be replaced. $700 immediately turned into nearly $6000. Price seemed to be steep but being caught with a hole in the roof and rain on the forecast, I have agreed and singed an adjusted contract. After they completed the job, my son, who happened to be around that day, climbed up the roof and realized that shingles they put on my roof is totally different color comparing to the rest of the roof. The contract clearly stated (written by Nick): â match the colorâ . But mismatch was not just a shade, it was a different color: my roof is read but they put grey shingles. They also left my property in disarray, roof and backyard were full of nails. I confronted Nick requesting to re-do shingles before I pay the balance. But not only he refused without additional payment, he also threaded me with some actions to spoil my reputation in town. I suggested to resolve our dispute in court, he emailed me to see me there. I filed a complaint with Superior Court of New Jersey, Somerset county, Small Claims requesting my deposit back. While working on the case documents, I asked two more professionals for the fair estimate of the job for my references. Although I was not disputing the price, I was ready to pay the balance, but I wanted the job that was priced extremely high end to be done correctly with accordance to the contract. Both roofers gave me the price almost twice less. One of them offered to come and examine their job. That is when another issue came out. While tearing off wood from the roof, the pieces of it fell through and were left in my attic. They did not bother to clean them up. So this other roofer, discovered that none of these left overs showed signs of deterioration. And per his opinion it looked like they just tricked me into the bigger unnecessary job. He also calculated the size of the replaced section as 400 sq. ft. , not 600. And when I consulted in town, it appeared they did not filed the permit with the town. According to town rules replacement over 25% of the roof must be accompanied by permit. They did 30%. The court was scheduled, no representatives of AAA Apex showed up. I presented my case to the judge and he suggested to go for more than just deposit, but for fraud. I have decided against it and stick to my original claim. Court ruled to my favor. Now I am trying to deliver the court ruling to the address that AAA Apex listed as their business address, but my certified letter is refused be signed. I am going to file the complaint with New Jers

They worked quickly and did a sloppy job on my front steps and walkway. My front porch and steps needed to be completely removed and replaced, a much bigger job than AAA or I originally thought. However, they never showed me permits for the job, they wanted payment each day and they never completed the job. I still have a piece of railing missing that would never pass inspection, and the salesperson Mark never answered my text message regarding the finish work. I was very disappointed by this experience.

A very good business with good competitive rates. The work done on my front porch and steps was noting short of excellent. If you want your next project done right i highly recommend AAA Apex Construction.

Positives: Low prices, started right away, reimbursed/compensated for issues with installation. Negatives: Ordered/installed wrong product, installed in the rain (which left residue on pavers from the polymeric sand), poor customer service

They were efficient , professional and did quality work. Cleaned up and left everything in order. I would totally recommend them.
