The owner, Fran Maple, is a graduate of Wentworth Institute in Boston, with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering. The company focuses on the highest quality products and superb customer service. From the initial estimate/consultation to the actual install, the owner is on the site to ensure your gutter system will always be flowing smoothly. A single father of three daughters and one son, Fran is an avid runner and fisherman.

Work has not been done. Provided 1/2 total deposit a month ago at that time was told that the work would be done the week of 7/15/2019. Called AAA as to what day to expect them, the office person did not know and had to get back to me, she did so and told me that the work had been completed!!! It has not I told her that the existing gutters had not been cleaned or had gutter guards install and the areas where new gutters are to be installed there are none. Have email pictures to AAA and now when I call no one answers the phone. UPDATE: 07/19/19 I had submitted a review stating that they claimed they had already done the work but had not. Ultimately this ended up being a mix up the Fran apologized for the error and they completed the work as contracted. If this is how AAA handles errors then I take back my previous negative review. Human errors are bound to happen and all anyone can expect is for the contractor to make it right which AAA did. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job.

The team came in August 2018. They were supposed to install 3 downspouts but they only installed 2. They charged me for 3 downspouts and they left the job with a big hole in the wall. They never came back to fix it and they never credited me for the downspout that they never installed. I called many times and sent many emails but without success. Very bad service.

My gutters were cleaned on the day it was scheduled. However, the technician left with my gutter mesh without really giving an explanation. I called to find out more about the service as well as the debris that was left on my roof and was told someone would get back to me. However, weeks later, I still did not hear from AAA. About a month and a half later I disputed the charge with American Express and they asked for supporting documentation on my claim, which I provided. Amex refunded the charge after their investigations. A couple of months later I received an email from AAA telling me someone will come by to reclean my gutter. I replied to the email stating the original inquiry was not a reclean request. After forwarding our original corrospondense and pictures, AAA went dark again. A few days later I called AAA to discuss this issue. They gave me a fairly general answer so I just accepted the reclean and paid them for it. The guys who came the second time were more communicative and seemed to have done a decent job of cleaning the gutters and the debris.

I hired AAA Window & Gutter in late January. It is now nearly May, my and my work has not been completed despite me having paid in full. When Fran first came out to the house to provide a quote, I was quite pleased with his professionalism and knowledge, and the price seemed reasonable. Everything went downhill from there, however. Trying to schedule the work has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Fran's secretary, Amanda, rarely answers the phone and doesn't respond to messages. We have dogs that have to be put inside when workers come, and despite my repeated attempts to get them to give us advanced warning, on three separate occasions they showed up to our house unannounced to do the work, requiring someone to come home frantically from work to bring the dogs in. When I would call Amanda, it was always the same story, "I thought Fran told you they were coming, and he thought I told you." If this happened once it wouldn't be a big deal, but when it happens repeatedly it suggests a more systemic communication problem. When they finally came to do the work (still on the wrong day), they didn't do the entire job, but charged us anyway. This was over a month ago, and now they don't return any of our calls. I have called multiple times per week, every week, for over a month. I am considering small claims court, but at a minimum would like to make it clear to everyone that this has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend this business to anyone.

There was a bit of miss-communication - but it was primarily my fault :-) The work was exquisite - the installers were very personable and professional. Took a bit longer than expected, however the weather was not cooperative.

Communication is a little bit of a problem with the office side of the business. But the guys that came out to the house to do the work, are the best. The guys told me exactly what was going on with my gutters and got everything install. I'm happy with the way this all turned out.

"This customer's job has been completed in full and they provided payment for the balance owed. The customer's attempts to contact the business were not made to the office so the office manager was unaware of his intended requests for contact. There was a delay in the completion of the work which was explained to the customer when the office reached out to him to provide him with his completion date."

I was very impressed with Fran when he came out to assess the project and give us a quote. In fact, I so liked his personality, and his knowledge about the field, and trusted his business acumen, that I told him on the spot that I wanted to work with him and was not going to pursue other quotes as I had planned. The work was slated to take two days and took 4, over the course of a week. There was little to no communication on days that we expected the worker and he did not come. When he was on site, he was working hard, and seemed skilled, although left some details to be desired. We were explicit about our concerns and history with squirrels in the soffits and this was one of the primary reasons we were replacing old materials. Well, upon completion, I was not home to notice that one squirrel entry hole was never fixed and within a week, they tore open the soffit in another place. I would expect that Fran's team would have don't some thing to change the design or add extra security (screws even!) such that it couldn't be easily pulled down by squirrels. We have been calling Fran about 3-4x/week in the month and a half since the work was completed. He has promised to come back out, but he has not and now it's fledging season for the Eastern Grey Squirrel again and they are about to nest in our walls. Fran was quick to make the drive to Boston when he had to pick up payment, but not to follow up and fix the job after our checks were cashed. I'm disappointed because we really liked Fran and trusted his work and his word. Now we face more squirrel damage in our walls and cannot get them out humanely once they have nested. Who has the time to keep calling every day to track down someone who owes them work? His voicemail is currently full and he rarely returns calls. When he does, he says he'll send someone out but the days come and go with no communication. I feel at a loss about next steps and just wish we didn't have to deal with this.

I was very happy with Fran at the consultation. The gutters seem to be of high quality so overall I am happy with the job. I was put off a bit as they were scheduled to be installed on a Tuesday but were not. No one called me to let me know that they were moving the installation date. I called them and they assured me that they would be out to install them on Wednesday. However, I got home Wednesday and no gutters. They did call me at 8pm Wednesday night to let me know that there was a mixup and that they would come Thursday. The gutters were actually installed on Thursday finally.
