They installed the Accordion shutter but they never gave me the permit. I pay them for that. Its most than a year and they never answer or return my calls. every time I talk to them, they say we will let you know when the permit is ready. This is a family business, do not do that. The owner is not a smart business woman. The shutters took 5 months from deposit to actually ALMOST COMPLETION. I was supposed to get a low profile walk over saddle for the sliding glass door shutter track, but was told that they canâ t get the aluminumâ ¦(5 months? I mean really). They were able to find a high profile track and will replace it after the summer with the correct one. Well, here it is after the summer and low and behold the additional charge will be $175.00 to â changeâ the track. Of course I was taken back by this latest scam. First delay was the PB building dept (not true- I called them), then there was a death in the family of the installer or whoever comes out to finalize measurements, which of course meant that production had to wait (thereâ s only one person to finalize measurements?). The job was promised to be 4 to 6 weeksâ ¦not 4 to 6 MONTHS! And still not completed. Look elsewhere for your project, it will be much less stressful.

I am so pleased with my new accordion shutters on my front windows. They were installed today by Wayne. Given that we are in the middle of a pandemic, I didn't know what to expect. Turns out, it was the perfect home improvement job to do right now as Wayne was outside and we were inside, keeping our social distance. I highly recommend AABCO for any storm shutter needs. I hired this company to install one awning in the front of my house on August 27th 2019, the awning contract said: I would have the awning in 8 weeks. The awning was installed January 25th, 2020 very poor communication, watch the contract notice after signing where it says 8 weeks, they put a little plus and minus by it real small and read the back carefully if you do not need an awning in a hurry. I guess you can hire them but I would not.

Just terrible communication and customer service. There was an issue with the permit to which they are not fixing, nor can I get anyone to help me over the phone.

They did a great job installing the shutters. I was disappointed that no one came back to show me how to operate them. Being a single widow is hard enough and it would have been nice to revive a lesson in how to operate the shutters.

3 months past the due date. Did not submit the permit to the city for over 1 month. Submitted incorrect shutters on the permit. Ignored a city request to fix. Made up false excuses on why the job was delayed. Blamed the ty of Deerfield Beach for not approving the permit, when it was AABCO not doing their job. City approved the permit within 1 week when the permit application approved.

Slow service, no one seems to be keeping ontop of the slow progress. Signed proposal and gave contract on 12/28/18. They couldn't get the engineer out to measure until 1/9/19 & that took 2 phone calls from me. Called & left msg on 1/14 to get progress report Had to call again 1/15 & was told they will get back to me. Still waiting.

The installer and one of the office ladies were very nice. One office lady was very rude. Long story short, communication was poor from the start. It took three people on three different occasions to actually get the measurements and my actual order right. Scheduling was absurd. At one point, they actually had the audacity to tell me they never should have accepted the job given the scope of work involved. All I had them do was replace the broken "F" track with new "H" track and measure a bay window for some vinyl storm panels. They ordered aluminum for me which was what I didn't want. It's been months and I'm still waiting for them to swap them out. I don't expect them to come. They also claimed they are contracted out through Home Depot for work......seriously?
