If you consider exceptional customer service having an affair and sleeping with your wife then Briggs Anderson is your guy. I caught Briggs sleeping with my wife on several dozen occasions. Not to mention Briggs is also married and cheating on his wife. So if you support affairs, cheating, infidelity, dishonesty, running around behind your back, and lying about it then give Briggs at A & A a call today. He'll be happy to give you and your family a hand, among other thing's.

Garage - Remodel
My wife and I cant say enough great things about our experience with A and A construction. They renovated our condo with upgrades that we love and the quality is unmatched with detail and their professional eye. We changed our entryway and had new flooring put in our 1700 sqft home as well as tile work, and garage renovation, including additional shelving and cabinets. Briggs has a great way of envisioning space and translating that into beautiful work. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner with great attention to detail! Briggs was great to work with and he worked within our budget to get exactly what we wanted and more. Thanks Briggs, Kert, Kenny, and the entire A and A crew for their hard work and professionalism. We highly recommend Briggs and his company! Rick

Garage Building Service
Our experience with Briggs Anderson has been horrible. From before we accepted the contract, Briggs knew that we needed a building permit for not on the country, but our HOA. I have multiple emails, texts, and handwritten notes documenting when I have asked about the permit. Briggs would always say I am working on the plans, I forgot to email you the plans but when it came down to it, he had not even started the engineering plans when I put my foot down in early July (or project started in March). Beyond his dishonesty about the building permit, Briggs and his crew: - Dug a trench for electrical and laid the wrong type cable as well as inside Cat 5 cable and then backfilled 1/2 of the trench before I went out there and stopped them. He also did not put conduit in the trench as I originally requested and he never had an actual electrician on site, his excavator guy did the cable. - Cleared out the pad for what was originally a stick frame building with a foundation and mid project decided that he wanted to do a pole barn without discussing that decision with me. Beyond that, he put in 12 inch sonotubes that would not have passed inspection. (another clue he never intended to get the permit). He had to try and use an auger to put the sonotubes in AFTER he had already laid gravel on the pad. The pad was also never leveled properly. - Nearly every aspect of this job has gone wrong and I have been left with a partially demolished garage as well as exposed electrical cable laying on the ground that feeds the garage. The biggest issue is that Briggs promised that he would get a building permit, he told me that he was working on plans, and he lied to me saying that he had sent the plans when I saw him days later drawing the same plans he sent me. In his plans, he stated that he needed to use 24 inch; sonotubes and he has not been able to answer me why he instead put in 12 inch; sonotubes that would not have passed inspection. I could go into so much greater detail, but hopefully whoever reads this will get the point. It is my opinion that Briggs is untrustworthy. **Responding to Briggs: If you were working on the permit, why did you only send me the form from the county on July 10th when we started this in March? Secondly, if you had already drawn up the plans, why did you ignore your own plans and put in 12" sonotubes when your plans (which I saw you drawing after Jul 10th) called for 24" sonotubes? Be honest. **
Response from A & A Construction Services, LLC
"You must first understand what it takes to get a permit before accusing someone of not doing it. The permit was being worked on. Nothing dishonest was happening. We are dealing with multiple people and agencies needing to process drawings to even be able to submit for a permit. The checklist of documentation is lengthy and takes time. As far as the cable, we dug and buried the cable that is correct no electrical hookups were performed. This was also something that was asked for as a favor and not in our scope of work. Just as you asked us to spread dirt all over, excavate a hillside and dig a hole for a water tank. The pad you speak."

Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
After almost two years still waiting for A&A to finish work that has been paid for. Project was supposed to be 1 year. Scope of effort - major house renovation - seems this type of effort is too large for A&A to handle. Seems to have abandoned our project since getting A&A to come back and finish work (paid work and warranty issues) has gone unaddressed. Have had many missed commitments and quality of work issues (not following blue-prints/design and just doing things incorrectly or poorly). Have had issues with A&A paying vendors and sub-contracts months after receiving payment from us. Have had to step-in and get A&A to pay them (one vendor put a lien against my property and others would not come back to finish work due to late payments). For large scale job - I do not recommend this contractor. Update:05/23/2023 I had written another review about my project. A&A was supposed to provide a 2-year warranty, per the contract. I have had to spend $5,000 getting things fixed (water heater, faucet, door, water filter system, etc.) that they either installed wrongly or would not honor the warranty when things broke (even when Briggs confirmed it was under warranty). Never trust what he says, even if it is in writing. Did have the choice of filing in small claims court. I think he banks on the fact that most people will not go to court.

Wood Stairs and Railings Repair
A&A actually took care of several Items for us including replacing old metal roof screws on our large shop, building new steps for our gazebo and staining them, retouching paint on the gazebo, reattaching wainscoting and replacing a bedroom door. Timely, responsive, excellent follow up. Highly recommend!

Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings Installation
We had a bit of a hiccup with scheduling follow through and communication at the beginning of our project to add architectural detail to our walls. However, Briggs of A&A came through and provided a top notch job. His team was great and very accomplished. We will use them again.

Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
I hired them 01-27-19 for a garage addition and paid $2,500 down for a $16,400 quote, including permit. In June, he finally excavated, poured stem walls and foundation before I found out that NO permit was issued - as indicated on Line Item #1 on the contract that I paid him for. Briggs stated the job was so small that he did not need a permit! I demanded a permit before any additional work. He submitted for permit, promised work to be completed once permit was approved, which it finally was approved on September 2, 2019. $2,000 in material was delivered and I paid an additional $7,200, as invoiced for earthwork and concrete foundation work. After contacting him numerous times to prompt him to pull the permit and complete the job, I was always **next on the list**. In November, Briggs Anderson walked away from the job site, leaving the material that was delivered on 06-16-19, to be damaged by the weather. After a full year of waiting, I finally had to fire him in January 2020, and asked for a partial refund. I have NOT heard from Briggs since, and he still owes me $5,000 in overpayment for material and services that were not delivered or completed. I originally hired him through Home Advisor, after receiving two additional quotes from contractors through Home Advisor. He was not the least expensive, but he was not the most expensive either. He was licensed and bonded when I hired him, and I believed Home Advisor was reputable. I DO NOT recommend A and A Constructions Services, LLC out of Hayden, Idaho.

Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
We ordered a large window for a loft opening on October. We have made many calls, sent many emails and texts, to little, late, or no response. We still do not have our window installed.
Response from A & A Construction Services, LLC
"Unfortunately we are not window manufacturers and we as a company rely on manufacturing to be timely. This custom window has taken a very long time from our distributor which is quite frustrating not only for the customer but also for us as a company. We certainly do not intend for projects to be delayed by outside businesses but from time to time it does happen."

Deck or Porch - Repair
I hired Briggs at A&A to replace an exciting 2nd story deck. His team was respectful, clean and very talented. Their attention to detail and fine wood working was apparent. Briggs was always fast to respond to emails/texts and communicated well. Most importantly the job was done in time and on budget. I m very happy and will use them again.

Bathroom - Remodel
I would have given them a 5 star except for their scheduling, which I had to help manage to keep them on our agreed schedule, and I had to have a few items redone but Briggs was very open to my input/requests. Otherwise, I liked everything else about their work and would highly recommend them.
