3/6/2026 - 2 hours to replace and mud Sheetrock backsplash in master bath. I had planned to do the tile work myself. He asked if I would let him do the tile work. I said ok. He did a good job with the Sheetrock I said ok. 3/7/2026 - He arrived and immediately left to go buy glue for the tile. When he got back he showed me Schluter. I had never seen Schluter so he explained it was like a frame for the tile. I said ok. He proceeded to spend an enormous amount of time glueing the Schluter to the sheetrock. He glued 1 row (the bottom row) to the wall. He left. I went in to look at what was done and found problems. The tiles that were sitting on the Schluter were crooked and the Schluter was crooked also. I started researching Schluter and discovered he wasn t using the Schluter correctly. It is meant to be set in mud or thin set so the tile will set evenly. He didn t do that. 3/8/2026 - He showed up and I told him what I found about using Schluter. I said I didn t want my tiles installed with Schluter because they would rock. Not be even on the wall. I asked him to take the Schluter down but he argued that it would be fine and taking the Schluter down would rip up the new drywall he just put in. I said I wanted him to pack up and do no more work. I asked what I owed him. He said $650. I paid him so he would leave. I am a 71 year old widow and I am not comfortable dealing with a stranger in my home. I gave him $150 cash on 3/6. $200 cash and $300 check on3/8

Hired Aaron and he helped me get things moving. Unfortunately we needed a professional plumber to complete the project. Yes I would recommend Aaron for you next project.

Aaron was hired for a shower valve replacement but we immediately expanded the scope of the project to a significant remodel with a short deadline. Aaron adjusted his schedule that day and worked with us on selecting fixtures, shower tile and floor tile. He proceeded to complete the project within our deadline. He was focused on doing the job right which I appreciated.

Aaron worked with my husband to install wallboard on the walls and ceiling of our kitchen, including installing angle beads on the corners, taping, mudding and texturing. He did very good work throughout the whole project, and was excellent at letting us know when he'd be coming and what he'd be doing, and then following through. We will probably have Aaron come back to help my husband install the new wall cabinets in the kitchen, and will keep him in mind with any other house improvement projects that we need help with in the future.

Mr. Lee provided service that was timely and proficient in the hanging of just under 700 square feet of drywall (including taping, mudding and caulking) for the walls and ceiling of a new construction wood shop. Contractors that show up when scheduled, communicate regarding job status and work hard when they arrive are not 'the usual'. Mr. Lee was timely, worked hard, showed up when scheduled, accommodated our schedule and communicated on a daily basis. He has a pleasant and outgoing personality and is clearly eager to please. For much of the project, I worked along side him and was impressed by his work ethic and desire to make things right in both the job product and his relationship with the customer. IT has been a pleasure to work with him and I would do so again without hesitation.
