WARNING! A. ARIAS FENCING. Contracted for 350 ft of Iron Fence and gates. Original owner passed away, son BRANDON ARIAS is now running the business. Not the same quality as reported here through 2022. Brandon gave me CONTRACTORS license number and advised insured and bonded. FRAUD. Fake number. Took 75% up front and did about 5% of work, SUBSTANDARD, then abandoned the job site and doesn?t return calls or emails. Checks cashed at my bank within an hour of receipt. Failed repeatedly to show up at the job site. Never saw any workman, only Brandon. He put in about 7 hours total himself on job site, installed 20 posts of 70 posts required, no fence panels, no gates, no materials on property. Constant excuses as to why not showing up, crew not showing up for weeks. Supposed to set 8 ft posts in 2 feet of concrete, only set 12 inches, not stable and not up to standard specs of any fence company in County. Would not return our funds upon request. Brandon came out made the bid and was easy and polite to deal with. It was a delay in installation however it was due to illness in the family. I live the way my fence turned out. Brandon even added some work without charge. I recommend them fully

He called me back in a few days and said he could do it right away, no delays. He did it at the price that was quoted in the exact time quoted. everything was neat, the crew were good at cleaning up after themselves, it all was so much better than expected. Steer clear of Art Arias unless you want lots of promises and no service or action. He was a subcontractor on a project at my home in August 2019. A simple job to provide the railing for a veranda. The first time they attempted to install the railing it was 30 inches high instead of the requested and required 44 inches! Fortunately, the General Contractor was on-site and stopped the installation before they drilled holes in the house and brick columns. This then caused a delay of over 2 months before the proper railings were installed. Once installed the railings were not as stable as promised and Art Arias personally offered to provide some *pegs* in the center of each of 4 railings to make them more stable, stating it would take about 2 weeks. The GC called Art Arias numerous times through December 2019, receiving numerous promises and assurances, until finally, Art Arias stopped returning his calls (note-the GC no longer uses Art Arias!). I then made numerous calls to Art Arias starting in January 2020, the first few of which were answered and promises given about installation within a couple of weeks...*we just need to have a job near you and I will send one of my guys over*. Then he stopped returning my calls in April. I even offered to have him send me the *pegs* and I would pay someone else to install. Nothing. In July I filed a complaint with BBB Houston and Art Arias has not responded to the complaint.

I used A. Arias fencing to replace a black wrought-iron fence in my back yard. They provided a reasonable price and quick service. They did such a good job my neighbors also hired them to replace their iron fence. Would definitely hire them again.

This was a relatively small job replacing "rusted" lock assembly on a wrought iron gate. Art was prompt to call to provide an estimate. Estimate was very fair especially considering the size of the job. Work was scheduled promptly, completed on site and exceeded my expectations. Will use him again when the need arises.
