"I guess this woman has a problem hiring someone that got injured. What that has to do with me repairing anything of hers is beyond me. I didnt need to open the dryer up or turn it on as it had nothing to do with the dryer as even she said before i got in the door...it was drying perfectly with plenty of heat. It was a clogged dryer vent that was the issue. she was given a 25 discount off of my 65 dollar service call because i felt bad for her. i still have to pay the 20 for the lead from home advisor. Goes to prove...you cant please some people no matter what you do nowadays."
"This will be my last call in Florida...nothing but problems with customers since i been here 4 months. I needed 2 parts to complete this order..a defrost timer and a heater. both parts where changed and unit is now fixed...no mention of that here though. i left the timer behind but took the heater because i can reuse the end connectors on other repairs. i never got any calls from this customer after the repair. The heater is not copper..dont know where this idea came from."
"I came in...looked at fridge (diagnosis)and determined it would need a defrost control board. The freezer was frozen solid and rather than charge her 150 in time and labor to steam out the entire freezer i gave her the option of unplugging it to defrost it and told her when she plugs it back in to let me know if it starts to frost up again. I should have just steamed it up and ran up a bill for her..maybe she would have been more happy that way. As i have stated numerous times..i order from the largest appliance parts company in the country...usually parts are 2 days away maximum. But, occasionally things go on back order and i have to wait just like everybody else. I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER PART ORDER TIMES! I always tell a customer this and let them know i will call when i get it.i returned..installed the part...all is fixed..but is she happy? nope! she already had a copy of the invoice but lost it and wanted another. SO it had to be sent since in voices are 2 copy only. ALL appliance parts ordered from any American company the warranty is one year. I don't need to print this on every invoice. Just because my address wasn't printed on the invoice she could have looked on my home page on home advisor...where she found me in the first place...and its listed right there. Seems to me like i was the one dealing with the piss poor attitude the entire visit."
"Comments from imbeciles like this are why im removing the garage part from my business name. Im sorry im an expert garage door tech and Appliance tech. If you think you would have gotten this repair done any cheaper through a GE tech your sadly mistaken. My service call and labor and parts are half of what they cost. If all I need is a screwdriver and electric drill to complete a repair why would i carry a truck full of tools into your house.Let me make this very clear...this customer insisted that because the issue was intermittent that i replace anything that could be causing the issue. If i would have been left to diagnose it my way it would have only needed one burner replaced. This entire issue is absolutely due to the husband having to relay info to "the boss" for approval and not getting story's straight. NOTE TO ALL CUSTOMERS>>>IF PRICE IS YOUR MAIN CONCERN>>SHOP FOR PRICES FIRST>>NOT AFTER I COMPLETE THE CALL!!"
"This is what happens when a customer is calling for someone else from another state. First of all...dont shoot the messenger. I dont build these machines. If you get a power surge and 2 circuit boards get shorted out that gets expensive....blame whirlpool. My service call was Quoted to her on the phone as 85 plus tax but if she were to print a coupon off the website she would get 20 off. well i was never provided a coupon so she paid full cost. If you tell me what brand and model your washer is it doesnt tell me if its stacked or not. ALL new front load washers and dryers are stackable. i need to be told if they are before i get there as i may need help to remove dryer to get at washer."
