"I showed you the cost of the expensive computer part on the manufacturer's web site, when I gave you the estimate. I didn't charge you any service call charge at all. I charged you the minimum labor, to try to keep the cost down. I showed you exactly what the problem on the computer was, by bypassing it, to verify the problem. I rushed the part in from the manufacturer, which is 7-10 business days, I have no control over. I updated you on the status of the order. I was there to replace the part, asap, after I received it. I spent considerable extra time, explaining information about your vent, and referred you to a few different venting specialists to address your vent under your house, going out to the back, and needing a damper installed by the venting specialists. I enjoyed spending many minutes listening to your husband tell me stories, not related to the repair, when I had customers waiting for me. I cleaned up around the repair site. I answered all the questions you asked of me. I turned your non-working dryer into a fully working dryer, which was your request for service. I was extremely cordial, the entire time I dealt with you, even when you threatened to cancel and buy a new dryer, if the part didn't arrive by a certain day and time, before the 7-10 business days I had told you it takes to receive the part from the factory. I did my best, and even more so, to provide you the best and quickest service possible, at the lowest cost, which is why I lowered my labor, due to the part being so expensive. I'm glad your dryer is working again, and thank you for the opportunity to help you with the repair."
