UPDATED POST: After my initial post, a guy named Josh reached out to me via text. Best part is I realized he was only doing so to try and get me to change my review to higher stars!!! (see attached photos for evidence of this and timeline of events). Once he realized I wasn't going to change my rating, he ghosted me and stopped trying to help, even though I provided mass amounts of evidence for how it was their fault. AND, Josh said he "would take care of it" since the broken parts were in warranty (it even says in-warranty on the invoice), but then I find out later this was all a lie and I was sneakily charged $1120 for the 4 hrs of labor to replace the coil that broke, despite what I was told. Basically, they installed the unit incorrectly and bent part of the unit such that all dust and debris could simply go around the filter I put in. Additionally, the filters that I was originally told to use were incorrect. 100% the company's fault, but apparently I'm responsible for their negligence. It gets better. I'm about to sell my house (July 2024), and the inspector came back with news that my AC unit is leaking from the ductwork above the unit. WOW! Going to pay someone else to try and fix it since I don't want AC1 to sneakily worsen the problem in order to keep charging me money. I'm a teacher, so I don't make much money. This unexpected charge forced me to cancel my summer travel plans. As if we aren't disrespected enough. Can't believe how little this company cares about people and how badly they want to make a dime off hard-working individuals. Total costs (~$8400): Jun 2021 - Initial Install - $5,600 Jan 2024 - AC not working, initial visit, nothing fixed - $249 Feb 2024 - visit to add refrigerant - $488 April 2024 - visit to replace coils and more refrigerant - $1857 July 2024 - fix ductwork - $200 ORIGINAL POST: I have had AC problems since my new unit was installed 2.5 years ago. I maintain the pipes, replace filters monthly as they suggested and followed all instructions they gave me but still have consistent AC problems. They charge $300 to send people out just to tell you that it will cost another $2000 or so to fix it, and then make up some excuse about how itâ s your fault and therefore doesnâ t fall under warranty. They are also so overbooked that it takes days for them to send anybody out to you while you sweat all day in the heat. Extremely unprofessional and sneaky, they will try to steal all your money and not actually fix your problem.

Before I decided to hire AC1, I get multiple estimates from different companies, nobody else offered me what I was looking for. I was looking for a good review from happy customers, like I am now. I also wanted to get the best deal in both, lower prices plus lower rate interest etc. I can write so many positive things about the company and its employees. They were very professional, respectful and responsible. If I could, I would give them 10 stars ð I highly recommend them.

Just got our AC unit replaced,everything was install in one day,the guys were very professional and curteous...they did a great job. Thanks to Joby for answering all our questions and concern that we had ,we are very happy with the choice that we made! Thanks Joby!?? We would highly recommend this company!

This A/C company by leap and bounds surpassed ALL the companies within my service area. I got an estimate from MANY others, way more than the suggested 3. No one was as honest, upfront, truthful and willing to assess my home properly. I was able to secure the financing I needed under my circumstances and not be degraded nor embarrassed to ask for help. It was a simple process and within my budget limit. The FREE assessment was done the same day I called for info. The Rep was knowledgeable and suggested the best type of unit for my size house. The 2 installers were polite, professional, efficient and cleaned up after themselves! I am beyond pleased with my new mini-split units! They are so quiet and work beyond my expectations. I am very glad this type of system was suggested and IS perfect for my needs.The first night of using the new units, I was missing something....the loud bangs and clanging from my old unit. The new units are so quiet I felt like I was at a 5-star hotel for the night.  The owner, receptionist and installers above all the rest, in every detail of the professionally run business. I wish all my home improvement projects were as wonderful an experience as this.Sound too good to be true, YES! it is, cause it's rare to find a reputable company with values. Give them a call today and see for yourself! 

The finest contractor I have ever dealt with, and I have dealt with more than a few. From discussing the details of the job and the pricing, with Keith and Mitch, to the actual installation with Marco and Cameron, I could tell I was dealing with a first-rate operation all the way. They are total professionals in every aspect of their business, and unfailingly courteous and polite. What a wonderful company!!! I can recommend them most highly, with no hesitation whatsoever. If only all companies, and ESPECIALLY air-conditioning companies, were so straightforward, honest, and decent. Hire these boys for your A/C project, and you will not regret it.

Great communication, very responsive, good value - just great experience all the way around. We'd replaced units in tow vacation rentals and these guys were great to work with and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right.. Highly recommend!

This crew is very professional. Responded to questions about the system and service requests very promptly. Used them for two central AC installation. Will definitely use again.

Inspection only with no fee, but impressed with response, representative, honesty of representative, appearance and intelligence of representative . This will be the one I notify and use to replace unit at future date. Very professional.

We needed a new AC at our beach condo and we were not in town. Keith was so helpful during the whole project, with phone calls, face-time calls, pictures and videos. The price was very competitive and we are very pleased!

This company is top notch!! It started with there salesman Mitch coming out. After explaining to him what I wanted, he had a few questions. One was, will my fuse box be able to handle a duel mini split system. He brought an electrician by to confirm it was. Installation will be the next day. Steve and Marco showed up with the equipment. Everything was installed in a timely fashion. These two guys worked hard all day and were very professional. When they were finished, everything was cleaned up perfectly. The mini split was a great choice, as I was trying to get heat/air into two different areas. One being an upstairs apt., the other, my garage/family room. I can only say good things about this company overall. From start to finish, AC1 gets a strong 5 stars!! Thank you!! I will recommend you to everyone I know!!
