Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings - Install
They failed to disclose their pricing upfront. The individual who performed the work asked if he could finish the next day and I agreed (Thursday). Then I received a text from the company the next day stating he would not be available to finish until Monday. After making my objections known they were able to staff and complete the job on Friday. Upon completion of the work, I was presented with an outrageous bill. The handyman told me to contact the company as they would be willing to negotiate the price with me. The fact that they would be willing to do so provides some insight into their practice of blatantly overcharging and then settling for less when the customer objects. We agreed on a reduced (yet still ridiculous) price and I paid via QuickBooks invoicing (3/14/22). Today (4/5/22) I received a Final Reminder Notice stating that my account is significantly past due and that failure to pay within 10 days will see my account turned over to a licensed collection agency. This would explain the missed calls from them with no voicemails left. If I had to guess they will probably attempt to use their phone records as proof that they made several efforts to contact me but that I willfully ignored them. In part this is true, as after I paid the invoice, I wanted nothing more to do with this company or their predatory practices. It was my intent to chalk this transaction up to an unpleasant experience and move on, however their continued shenanigans have made that impossible. I will say that the handyman (carpenter) performed the work in a satisfactory manner, beyond that I would advise others to steer clear of this disreputable company and their questionable at best business practices.
