Bathroom - Remodel
Steve and crew did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom and making it handicap accessible. My Dad is moving back home with me after recovering from hip surgery and has some mobility challenges so I was needing something a little more than your standard remodel. However, Steve and team were able to come up with the right solution pretty much on their own. The number of and placement of handicap bars is spot on. Other details like the color of tile and layout were decided by Steve and crew, which turned out beautifully. Steve was very flexible working with my schedule and dealing with any changes that came up during the project. He did a great job adjusting to those changes, relaying to his workers what should be done, and coming up with cost-effective and practical solutions where alterations were needed or problems arose. Steve is not only passionate about what he does but when you add in the high quality of workmanship and affordable price together it makes for a very satisfying total experience. The bathroom remodel was completed satisfactorily and within the needed time frame. I highly recommend Steve for bathroom remodeling and/or probably any thing else his team does because they all did a superb job! - Randy

Carpentry Framing - Install
Steve and Anna were fantastic to work with. They showed up on time everyday, worked with me to accommodate my schedule, kept me appraised of any issues and provided great suggestions on finishing my project. Their work was very professional and complete. They obviously cared about doing the best job possible. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a great job done at a reasonable price.

Basement - Remodel
Steve and Anna did a full basement remodel for me after I had had a problem with mold and the remediation had left a lot of damage. The work included some repair work, drywalling, enclosing part of the room as a closet, installing new vinyl flooring throughout, and completely rebuilding a bathroom. They did a great job! Very courteous and worked with me to find the best deals on fixtures and materials. I am very happy with the results. Will have them back for another project.

Ace interiors did a fantastic job finishing our attic into a bedroom and finishing our basement into a family room. They did electrical, framing hung and finished drywall, trim and painting. They finished everything in a timely fashion, kept good contact throughout the project, were always friendly and courteous, and did high-quality work. All that at very affordable rate. I recommend you give Steve and Anna a call before you start your next project.

Bathroom - Remodel
Run! If 0 stars was an option, I'd of selected that instead. I have had Steve, the true owner of this business, work on various projects for me over the years and have put up with his alcoholic tendencies because he'd always done fairly decent work for a reasonable price. This time however, I believe he simply bit off more than he could chew. The people he hired for the tile completely destroyed my tile. The cut edges were put on the outside and looked as if they'd been chewed by a dog. Huge lips were present at the seams, the accent strip was in the wrong place and crooked. Mastic was used which, according to the instructions on the very container, is not to be used for shower instillation; it was a total mess and had to be completely torn out and redone. Not to mention the fact that the "texture" his employees put on my wall was caked on and uneven, appearing as if a toddler got a hold of some drywall mud and went to town. That entire sheet of drywall had to be torn out as well, as his only remedy was for me to attempt to sand it down, which I am not capable of doing. Initially Steve seemed reasonable, telling me if I purchased new tile, he'd deduct the product cost from the labor I owed him. We did the demo ourselves as he "did not have time" and discovered that the tiles were not even properly adhered as there was a big circle of mastic in the middle of each tile that had never even been smoothed onto the rest of the tile. When he re-hung the Duroc, it was not squared properly, thus creating issues when we attempted to hang the 2nd batch of marble, yes beautiful expensive marble, tile. Notice I said, "we." His version of re-doing the marble was to cut 4 tiles and leave me to hang them after he went home. I also found out later that he "sealed" my Duroc cracks with drywall mud, thus creating the necessity for tearing out the entire project a second time. When he arrived the next morning, he insulted my work saying it looked no better than the 1st instillation. This absolutely was not the case, but even if it had been, he had apparently forgotten that the entire reason I was paying him was so he would do my shower, not me I am not a contractor. The day progressed by him accusing me of "gouging" him on the replacement materials price. He would not even look at my receipts when I presented them to him. He then attempted to get me to pay more for the drywall finishing, claiming it was not part of the original bid, notwithstanding the fact that "hang 2 sheets of drywall and finish" is written directly on our contract. He then left for the entire day and sent me to the website in search of a specific bit to cut marble with, as although tools were not a part of the original bid, apparently now they were. When I returned to my home he was back as well. He immediately flew into a tirade about me not getting any tile work done today again, apparently that had become my responsibility. "This is nothing but a smear campaign by a lying vindictive woman in an attempt to mar our good company name! (See our other reviews) There are only 2 statements in her ranterings that is true: (1) We have done 4 or 5 other projects for her. ( We have always done her an awesome job or she wouldn't have begged us back again this time to fix what another contractor had botched. I begged Steve not to deal with this lady again because of past experiences with this customer. But Steve has a big heart and she promised that the money would be right this time.) (2) We did offer to pay for a dumpster for her when we chose to walk away when things went south once again. I.E. lack of proper materials and extra work needed without compensation.) The contract was for $950 to hang and finish 4 pieces of drywall,install 3 pieces of beadboard and the trim, and tile a 32x32 inch shower. She gave us $380 down. Upon closer inspection the concrete floor pan had to be grinded down and repoured, the shower enclosure was not square and had to be reframed. We had to install 2 can lights just to get to the point of hanging the drywall and tile the shower (none of this was in the contract.) We now had 4 days in this project with the drywall installed and the shower 90% complete. Steve brought all this extra work to her attention and told her that we were going to need more money to compensate all the extra work that was necessary to get to this point and complete the install. She started yelling at Steve and Steve asked her several time to calm down and stop yelling. At that point she asked her boyfriend to come out of the bedroom "and take care of us because we were not listening to her." That was the final straw. We loaded up our tools and left. She has fabricated all these allegations because we refused to let her take advantage of our services once again. She never has the money to do her projects right and expects the contractor to do the extra work needed and necessary for free once you are locked into a contract with her . We have always done her a superb job, as well as all other customers that hires our company. Our work is always TOP SHELF! (See our other reviews)"

"Cory is not telling the truth at all. we went way above and beyond our original agreement.and charged him no extra money. it was only suppose to be tearing a standing stall shower out {32 inches by 32 inches}t and building a 32'' x 60'' frp board shower, in which we did. and he was estatic about the finished shower. but it actually turned into a whole bath remodel. including a tiled floor, new trim, and completely painted before we could collect the measely $800 we charged for initially just to build the shower.he kept going on and on about remodeling his upstairs bathroom and also removing a wall in the basement so we kept our prices low with the promise of lots more work from him after the shower. . we went back at his request to bid tearing out the wall and finishing the area back w/drywall, paint, and trim. build him some shoebox shelves in his closet, and us supply all materials for a smoking price of $600! i told him i needed half up front for materials. he agreed. the work was scheduled to start the next day, once he gave me the money for materials, i dont understand the way this guy thinks at all! how did i hustle this man?"

We had an exterior door that needed repairing or replacing. With the extend of damage that was likely due to poor workmanship from a previous install, repairing the damage and installing a new door was the outcome. Steve and his brother had their hands full and did a bang up job. We found another problem with gable damage during the initial visit and had that work done also. A keen eye saved us from serious problems down the road. We will definitely have them back for other projects that are on our to do list. Also, not afraid to refer them to friends or family.
