I purchased an American Standard in the summer of 2014 at the AC energy's recommendation even though the current repair was covered under warranty. After installation the real problems started. Control boards, V coils yes V coil's, fan motors, water filling the drain pan, drain line clogging and a host of other issues. A/C came out several times (15) or so replacing boards and such but never addressing the overflow issues. I had to vacuum the drain 3 times a week during summer and 3 times a month on the overflow pan. House could not be left unoccupied during these times due to having dogs. Some summer nights we would wake up to 85-90 degrees as the drain and pan filled. I called them several times to rectify these issues, but they always have some excuse as to why it continued to happen. At one point the tech said it was a faulty install, I reminded here his company installed it. Then it was rotted wood from the unit spilling water out onto the newly installed piece at installation.

Trey, our service technician was / is awesome ! He responded to an after hours emergency call and promptly made every effort to get to my home as quickly as he could! He rectified the problem while effectively communicating the problem / solution ! Am sincerely grateful for his promptness , honesty and integrity ! From removing old light fixtures, shifting outlets to new locations, replacing cabinet lighting, switching out to LED lightbulbs, etc- I was thoroughly impressed by their knowledge, professionalism & genuine willingness to help. Fantastic ! Felt good learning that I choose the right company

everyone was very efficient and always polite. They answered all my questions. They always cleaned up and put everything back in place after a days work. A couple of electrical problems were resolved.

They were professional and showed up on time and worked clean

The owner visited after I signed a contract and reviewed the situation. He told me that I did not need the 3.5 ton replacement I ordered, but a 3 ton unit would be powerful enough since my house was well insulated.

I interviewed three different AC companies and I liked them the most because they told me they would do something different on the intake. I liked everything on the install project. The only negative experience was the fact that when I ask them to teach me how to operate the thermostat they said they could not do that and I had to leave it almost seemed like they were in a rush to get out. In their defense when I called the office they told me the same thing the thermostats are all very different so they can t help every person with operating the thermostat. I only was expecting them to at least tell me something about the thermostat all they did was set it up and left. I would ve liked to be able to give some input on setting up the thermostat which I was not given the opportunity to do so. The AC was installed on May 12, 2020 and the only issue I ve had so far is there s a whistling sound on the intake and I m waiting for them to come back to fix it. I reported this issue on May 13, and I m doing this review on June 8. I haven t heard back from them yet but I told him that that getting this issue fixed is not urgent, but I do want to get to get done soon. Will update this review soon.

Scott and a crew of 4 came at 7:39 am and worked 12 hours to complete our new Lennox a.c. install, as promised. A follow up was completed within a week and we are very satisfied.

Great customer service! Scott did a great job of advising us on upgrading our AC unit and electrical to make it safer and more efficient. He was prompt in responding and very thorough in assessing our situation. His team was professional, courteous and did a great installation within a few days of our initial contact. Kept in contact until inspection was complete (even the inspector commented on what a great company they are). I trust Scott and feel I am in good hands going forward.

My old central air conditioner was a complicated mess and needed replacement due to a poor installation by some other company. Scott and his excellent crew created a plan and completed my job in just a few days. They are scheduled to do some additional work soon.

Could have done the AC cheaper - but could not have done it better. Scott spends time assessing the situation, advising and then executing the plan. The company across the board is very professional.

Great company, and honest.

Scott was the only Contractor that told us about the Pace program. That alone made him stand out from the rest. Additionally, his price, explanation of the equipment and the pleasant service of his office manager, Maureen, made the entire transaction a very positive one for me and my family. I definitely recommend AC & Electric Energy!

I rated this company five stars because they responded immediately. We had no heat on the coldest day of the year and they were out within a matter of hours and fixed my problem. They were thorough and explained everything well.

Scott kept his promise and I was satisfied with the installation. He actually came the next day and corrected some minor details. He is professional and courteous. He is honest and knows his business.
