We had a Whole House fan installed about 4 years ago, it stopped working a few weeks ago so I called them expecting that it would be weeks before they could get out to look at it and expecting that the cost would be high. Well I was wrong, these guys are fantastic, they came out the next day which was Saturday, the tech was right on time and super friendly and helpful after determining that the fan was defective he replaced it with a brand new updated model. Best of all there was no charge for the fan it was covered under warranty not only that they said the labor was included for free. The new fan is working great and I could not be happier with the service. Thanks again

My Skylight cracked last week during a raining storm . Called Solar Lighiting Epxress for a replacement quote. They responded quickly and were very professional. I thought the quote was reasonable after research of possible cost so did not look further. Anthony, the installer was very personable and professional. Showed me photos before and after. They did quote and install on the same day ! Highly recommend this company.

We had three Solatubes installed, each with a light fixture inside. Two are in a dark hallway and one is in a laundry room. We LOVE them. They have made a huge difference and it's nice to have natural light in these windowless areas during the day. We have had them for several months without any issues. Installer was very professional and left no mess behind. A person come to our house for the quote and then we went to the showroom to see different options to make sure we knew what we wanted - they have several options actually in use at their showroom space so it was very helpful. The two people we dealt with were knowledgeable, friendly and gave us no pressure

I hired Solar Lighting Express to install a 22" Velux solar tube on 06/05/2026 and paid $1,950 for parts and labor. Unfortunately, the quality of the installation does not reflect a professional job. Shortly after installation, I noticed bugs getting inside the tube. When I contacted Anthony Choi about the issue, I was told that bugs inside a Velux tube are ?normal.? After doing my own research and inspecting the installation, that explanation does not hold up. Upon closer inspection, the workmanship inside the tube is clearly subpar: Duct tape was used inside the reflective tube The reflective material is wrinkled, creased, and poorly fitted Seams appear misaligned and not properly sealed Debris was left inside the tube These issues raise serious concerns about improper sealing, which likely explains how insects are getting in. To make matters worse, during the installation the metal tubing was placed directly on my artificial turf, which resulted in two burned spots.

Anthony was very knowledgeable about my project and hopefully helped me resolve the leaking that was happening around the skylight. I opted not to go with a new skylight until I get a new roof put on next season but will definitely give him a call when I do.

Anthony was very responsive and provided a fair price for the installation of our two skylights in Los Gatos. He was able to get us in just a couple days after we accepted the quote. Very punctual and did great, clean work.

He was very knowledgeable, and the skylights are exactly what we ordered and work perfectly. My only downside was the amount of time it took to actually get the skylights — perhaps manufacturing delays due to custom sizes, but there was not much communication about the delay.

Anthony was very responsive with my initial call and was able to fit me into a schedule to replace my skylight within a 24 hour period. I had been dealing with various contractors over the last three months, and Anthony did the best job I could imagine!

Contractor arrived on schedule and cheerfully fixed two skylight windows that were stuck. He explained how to keep them in working order. I paid the exact amount quoted for the service call.

Anthony was terrific! He called me when he saw my request on Angi. We agreed on a price and he came the next day, as promised. The repair required mounting our difficult, steep roof more than once and also reaching the skylight from inside the house from a landing on the second floor. That required some ingenuity! Through it all, he explained what he was doing at every step, He is agile, thorough, and clever. Despite the unexpected difficulty in the job, there was no effort to change the price we had agreed upon. The whole experience was satisfying and actually exciting. It was fun to watch a man who enjoys his work so much and enjoys satisfying customers.
