ACS, LLC

Paid them $21,000, just to get a letter in the mail several months latter from the concrete delivery companys lawyer telling me if i do not pay $2700 in 20 days they would put a lein on my house. Ryan the owner said they could start work in a month at the latest, but turned into more like 2 and a half. My 105 ft long retaining wall cracked in two places a week later after pour. I had them put fence post holders in while pouring, sadly some holders didnt have any concrete flow into them. I would not recommend this company.

Our review of ACS is mixed. We contracted with them to tear out and built a deck. I will use a rating scale to describe our experience - 1 to 10 where 10 being Excellent and 1 being Poor. * Satisfied with quality of finished deck = 9. (There were some bad miter cuts and one deck board that is set higher than the rest - ACS would not take responsibility for these problems) * Communication = 0 (This company does NOT know how to communicate - as mentioned in other reviews. Very Poor communication skills. (Jenny at the office even admitted this to us). We left messages about making a change to our plan - no one ever called back. The installer leaves for the day and we have no idea if/when he is coming back. Two days go by and the installer was a no show - no communication to the customer by anyone at ACS. Jenny who runs their home office is rude, defensive when you try to bring issues to their attention, is volatile and yells at you for no reason. She has no concept of customer service skills. When the job was finished, their focus was to get paid IMMEDIATELY without addressing our concerns about obvious decking flaws. We were worried they wouldn't keep their commitment to remove old deck debris. Ryan (the owner ?) was sent out to **Shake us Down**. During our meeting I was shocked that ACS does not take ANY responsibility for the quality of their work or any damage to our property. We have never experienced this before. We do NOT even know if their is any sort of warranty on materials or labor - we were never provided any information about a warranty. Ryan tried to explain everything away - I ended up throwing him off our property. * Regard for the CustomersProperty = 2. (They staged the lumber on our green lawn instead of putting it on the driveway. Part of ou lawn was destroyed as a result. No regard for the customers property - no responsibility was taken by ACS. - not even an apology. ) At this point we are very frustrated.

The workers that came to do the job were friendly and pleasant to deal with as was the office manager. When I questioned the quality of the work to the owner his response was unprofessional to say the least. That response negated anything positive about the experience.

While I would recommend this business - I would only do so if people understood what they should expect. We hired them to replace our driveway and walkway. The overall finished project was good but the communication between us and the company and the workers was not. We had the work done two months ago and still have a punch list of items that we now assume will never be taken care of since we cannot get Ryan out to talk to us despite repeated calls and emails. The remaining issues are: 1) There is a swale on one side of the driveway that goes up (kind of a lump) 2) The drain is crooked on one side 3) There are already cracks along the middle seam of the driveway 4) There are divots from the excavator 5) The edge of the walkway is uneven 6) There is a footprint on the front porch - in the concrete (photo sent) 7) There is cement up the side of the house - on the exterior wall of the garage 8) There WAS still a piece of rebar driven into the lawn by the walkway until (without letting us know) - someone came on to our property and pulled it out at some time which was very weird 9) We were told that they would be putting a mesh in the driveway and then pulling it up into the concrete for stability but that did not happen. Instead, they included some sort of **mesh**, in the concrete mix and then charged us extra for it. Basically - we started out happy with the work for the price and now are OK with the work but very disappointed in the experience.

ACS was friendly, informative and easy to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and am thrilled with the final results

Disaster from start until the point they had to be terminated! Misrepresented the materials and construction. Late by at least 2 hours on each appointment. Very poor communication, almost non-existent unless I initiated it. Was told a month to start for a one day job. Took almost 2 months to start but only after I called several times. The one day job turned into SEVERAL days because of contractor mistakes and deliberate poor workmanship. Built deck in the WRONG place then had to move it then took short cuts to make up for the lost time - HIS problem not mine. Did damage to my house when they moved it. Piers not installed correctly did not use the flashing or concrete delivered to the job site. The owner was belligerent and threatening to me. Deliberately installed damaged finished decking trying to convince me the supplier required it! What? Ridiculous. I contacted the supplier and am working out the replacement as I write this. Buyer beware. This guy will take your money, lie, make excuses, build an unacceptable and unsafe structure, then try to intimidate and threaten you if you do not just let him do what he wants. Time bomb. You were warned.

Ryan, Vern and Jennifer were all fantastic to work with. We had 2 concrete slabs installed with a walkway connecting them. Ryan had really good design ideas and Vern did a great job laying the forms and pouring the concrete. The end result was beautiful. And, throughout the whole process Jennifer was great at communication. She was always proactive in letting me know when they would be able to do the next step in the process and they were always quick to respond to any questions I had. Definitely would hire again.

Ryan listens and explains to homeowner, he and his crews work hard onsite, while Jenny solidly takes care of administrations (schedule, communication, paperwork. etc.) up into the full closure of the work. We felt secure working with them. Thank you,

They can be very busy, so plan your project early. Once you choose them, you ll be quite happy with their final product.

Superior attention to detail. Great time management on entire project. Friendly, personal on going communication from initial job planning stage until finished job. All members of team well versed in overall skills required for complete project. Owner of company involved throughout planning and completion of job. Job completed on time and very happy with finished project. Would wholeheartedly recommend and refer this great company to my close friends and family members. Hard to find such personalized work in this day and age where everyone is out to cut corners on everything and pocket the extra savings/profits.

Communication was a little lacking. Timing between framing and actual work seemed long too - a lot of time we couldn t use that space. But overall seemed like a decent price for the complexity of the job.

ACS did a fabulous job on our patio from start to finish. Arnie spent over an hour during the initial bid taking pictures and measurements, drawing up the detail of what we wanted and showing us our options. Attention to detail, communication, promptness, quality of work and cleanup was all stellar. We plan to use them again for other projects in the future. We couldn't be happier with our patio!

This is the second time that we have used them. They did a stamped patio previously, and we had an exposed concrete porch and driveway done this time. They do beautiful work and when they leave the grounds are cleaned up. Would highly recommend them and have to family and friends.

The $12000 deck project went very well. Communications were and concise and phone calls/ questions were promptly returned. All of the crew were highly professional. The design was exactly what I wanted to see. Workmanship was an A+. Will definitely re-hire them and can confidently refer them to others.

ACS did a great job. I contacted several contractors for this job. Many never returned my calls for a bid, one never showed up for a scheduled bid and another showed up two hours late and gave me his quote, and when I asked for it in writing he just wrote a dollar figure down on the back of his business card that was $200 less then his original quote. In contrast, someone actually answered the phone when I called ACS. They set up a time to come out an give me a bid. They called me the day before to confirm the appointment. They showed up on time. They had a portfolio of past work I could look at. An they gave me a professional written estimate that had a breakdown of the job and it s costs. I got a call from ACS a week later and said they had an unexpected opening that day if I was interested. They came out, removed sod, put up the forms and poured the concrete all in one day. And my driveway extension looks amazing. Everyone we came in contact with at ACS was professional, polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely hire them again and would highly recommend them to anyone considering looking for concrete work.

First class company. No pressure with the sale, answered all our questions and conformed to my wife and I's busy schedule. Final product was a beautiful new fence delivered on time despite them working during the aftermath of the heavy snow this winter. Workers could not have been friendlier. Will come back to then for any future needs and recommend to any and all.

We were very impressed with the quality of work of acs. In fact we have already asked them to do another job for us. The only room for improvement i have is around communication.
