Melonie has a great eye for color and she is a good "shabby chic" painter. Her truly professional skills end about there. If everything goes smoothly, she is a delight to work with and all of the positive reviews here are valid. However, I discovered that when there were bumps, she was ill-prepared to handle them from a business perspective and interpersonal perspective. Things pretty much fell apart. I could list several issues but as an example-- a month after she is "done" two of the contractors she put onto my job are not yet done, leaving me to deal with them. Love the paint colors, but suffice to say that is not reason enough to give her a good review after a very disappointing, very frustrating and very unprofessional experience. I recommend you look elsewhere.

We regret that we could not accommodate (consumer name withheld per their request) request and wish her the best of luck.My contract states that the contractors do not work for me, and therefore the client is hiring each as an individual (consumer name withheld per their request) added on to the work load over and over. The granite was complete, she just had to pay them, so it is untrue what she states. Please see all of my reviews on HOUZZ to understand the dynamics of what other clients and professionals think of not only myself but the people I work with. There will always be someone whom will try and make you look bad, and it doesn't make them right."

You have a difficult time getting actual receipt of the money that you give her ,horrible quality of the product .Don't pay at one time and don't trust other people style ,she does not send you any sample of the material before she purchase ,you don't know what type of Fabric .This is the worse if ,you can tell a paying client you are busy with your schedule and moving when the client has paid you .I have a problem ,How do you start a job and can't for fill the obligation because your schedule is full,when she told me from the start ,I can work around your schedule ,the blessing in all this .I found someone who is reliable and has a portfolio of there work and contact .

"Chevelle made my job tough. Communication was almost nonexistent and being able to reach her was next to impossible. I did my very best to accommodate her in everyway. When I left her home with my assistant she was thrilled at how everything turned out. Three weeks later she wanted to change things and began changing her story...this is the results. My reviews on all over prove this is just not the case...unfortunately it can sometimes take one person to try and make you look bad.
