I shopped around quite a bit and received quotes from numerous inspectors before selecting John. He was not the lowest priced offer, but I could tell by my original phone call with him that he was the most thorough and would be worth the money. John inspected a home that I am under contract on and he did an incredible job. He did not just rush through it and get in and get out, you could tell he truly cared about the inspection and took his time to inspect and explain everything, while still doing everything in a timely manner. John's inspection report was extremely detailed and the insights he provided me with at the inspection were incredibly valuable. I will be recommending John to anyone I know who is looking for a home inspector!

John Burkland gives gold star service. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and an exceptionally experienced inspector. He is also an Architect so he pays great detail to the interior and exterior structure. His reports are thorough, and direct from crawlspace to attic. I highly recommend A Craftsman Eye.

I would definitely hire John for home inspections again. He is a true professional. He provided a thorough reporting of the condition of my new home that allowed me to identify issues that could arise in the future. John was friendly and took time to explain any questions I had. He was also able to conduct my inspection on short notice. I very much appreciate the service John provided.
