"After tear out and be for installing new wood we took moisture levels on new wood and existing sub-floor, all was good. When Mr. Kelly called us months had passed and many rains, we went had a look, took moisture readings witch was off the chart, I new what the problem was then and told him but he was not convinced. So I told Mr. Kelly that I would hire a leak detection company to investigate and he said he would do so, I ask him to please let me know when they would be there. He called and had hired American Leak Detectors out of Little Rock Arkansas. I was on site when they were there. After there investigation there conclusion was off the chart high moisture level under the house, No leaks, a small drip from one shower drain witch could not damage any of the flooring because it was only dripping on to the ground. Mr. Kelly was not satisfied with that, so he called the Arkansas Contractors Board and after another month or month and a half of there investigating they came to the conclusion that A & D was not responsible. They said in there letter if the home owners wanted to pursue it in court that would be up to them. He threatened to do so, but has not up to this time and its been years.. So now A&D has had American Leak Detectors and the Arkansas Contractors Board investigate and A&D has not been found liable. Mr. Kelly's house is on a slope, when it rains water runs under his house and is held under his house for quite some time, there is no moisture barrier under his house. When Mr. Kelly first called his insurance co. due to a supposedly a shower leak they wrote an estimate and paid for many rooms of damage. That's when Mr. Kelly called us. We went there and was told there was a shower leak and all of this damage was to be repaired. We thought nothing of it, we see leaks all the time that do such damage. But in this case there was never no such leak that caused any damage to anything other than the bathroom floor. And it was from a shower drain and the insurance paid him for most all of his flooring throughout his house when the damage was due to moisture level problems.. So therefore the Insurance adjuster misread the situation and paid him thousands of dollars they should not have. As far as the shower drain A & D did not replace that, it was done by a plumber he hired. Now after all this time Mr. Kelly is still trying to hurt A&D anyway he can. I felt sorry for Mr. and Mrs. Kelly, I offered to help him in any way I could, I offered for him to use my drying equipment free of charge. I feel bad for Mr. and Mrs. Kelly and there problem. And I feel bad that he cannot see that the problems with his flooring had nothing to do with A & D. Thank You, Don Broussard / Owner"
