About year and half ago, I decided to retire from this business after 35 years. But after a while I realized that I miss this work very much and due to some cost of living hike, I decided to get back and give it a go for another couple of years. I have been doing home repairs and remodeling for over 35 years. Most of my business comes from referrals since all my customers are pleased with the quality of my work and professionalism. I take pride in what I do and will go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. No job is too small or too big. I do all types of plumbing, electrical work, water heater, garbage disposal replacements, painting, remodeling, drywall, wood panels, cabinets, tiles, lighting, flooring, (except carpet) storage units, additions, fences, decks. I am clean and professional. My rates are very reasonable and never charge for estimates.

Sliding Door or Tracks Repair
Ed did a very good job to repair my sliding glass door. He was able to use the existing rollers and clean the track. The door was just like new! He was done before I knew it. His prices were also very reasonable as I got two other quotes before I hired him.
I also hired him to fix a plumbing problem where the hot and cold water were reversed. He was able to correct the problem easily. His knowledge of plumbing was obvious as he was able to even name the brand of the part just by looking at it.
I would definitely hire him for any plumbing, electrical or handy work around the house.

I highly recommend AEF Handyman. Ed came out and fix several plumbing related issues (vanity sink faucet leak, bath tub drain stopper replacement, broken shower head diverter and shower head replacement). He was courteous and promptly highlighted unanticipated issues (I was not at the property at the time). The rate was very reasonable and he provided a breakdown of materials and labor cost. In addition, called him again when the garbage disposal was thought to be broken and Ed came out and quickly identified we just needed to use a wrench to turn the grinder as something was stuck. He did not charge us which was super awesome and nice!

I'm so happy to have met Ed and will contact him for future home repairs. They are knowledgeable, provide suggestions, work clean & efficiently and very courteous. Although I ended up paying a lot more than what I was originally planning, I feel Ed was honest, walked me through all potential problems and moreover his men were available on a Saturday to do the work at short notice. I am happy with the work and I feel the quality of the work was good as well. Ed suggested various other miscellaneous items like a peephole for the door, exterior paint to prevent termites etc, some of which he did not charge for. Moreover he got the paint and had all the necessary tools, so I did not have to do much. I am satisfied with the work and would hire Ed again. I especially like his philosophy of not taking shortcuts and getting the work done right the first time to prevent problems later on.

Ed was great; We had a pocket door that was broken and we wanted to replace it with a regular hinged door. Ed even found other issues and explained them to us, then fixed them. He seemed to understand all of the problems that might arise from this project and planned for them.
