AFE Home Improvement, LLC

He replaced a lattice apron around the deck. There isn't a plumb or level line, many of the pieces of lattice are not attached, when painted they just drift away. He was the cheapest quote. Now I know why.

I’ve been dealing with contractors for over 30 years. Most of them don’t even call you back. Mike, however, is the exception. He responded almost immediately and showed up when he said he would. Mike and Andre’ did a wonderful job and I highly recommend AFE Home Improvement.

Hired Mike to power wash and stain the deck. His attention to detail was amazing. My deck looks great. Allendale, NJ

I had a gazebo roof that needed to be repaired. Michael answered my call right away and came same day, He showed up when he said he would, was a non-stop worker. He repaired a back door, did my driveway which had many problems with it and I am now hiring him to repair a picket fence and repair and paint my garage door. He knows how to fix anything and everything, is honest and so very proud of the work he does. He offered to repair other minor jobs he observed. I fell backwards, head first down a flight of stairs when he was showing me the job he did from my second floor window and though I am sure after 9 hrs. of work he was anxious to get home, washed up, eat and get into bed, he stayed with me. He and his wife worried about my getting a concussion and called me every hour to make sure I was staying awake. I now consider him a FRIEND and not just the guy I will go to for all of my future problems with my 1928 house. If I could give him 25 stars, I would. You can't go wrong hiring this man.

Overall experience was excellent. Michael responded to my request in record time. He is a very likeable friendly person and he came over on a Sunday morning to scope the job and gave me a quote within hours which my wife and I appreciated. He works very fast because he knows what he’s doing. Also gave me very valuable advise on damages that I did not notice. Price was very fair and he got the job done when he said he would. During the work he always kept the work area very neat, clean and tidy and this continued after job was completed. I would definitely hire AFE Home Improvement again. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and my decks look like new.

Responded promptly. Came for estimate and explained work to be done and cost. Found time the same day to complete task of repairing stairs. Price reasonable considering time involved.

Very pleasant . excellent job

I just think he gave me everything that I asked for! I gave him the idea of what I was looking to have done and he came thru with everything I was looking for. The other thing is he did not make any moves without consulting with me first. He catered to my needs and took my house back to the 1895 look. Very meticulous and methodical!

Our second major project with Michael was a kitchen renovation plus numerous other repairs to get our home ready to sell. The work was done to perfection.
