I was standing at the crossroads of whether to sell my home/property or have foundation issues addressed. An AFS truck passed my house one day so I decided to give them a call for an inspection and quote. Joe Kashner, Project Manager, arrived and did the inspection. Thankfully, it was found that I had termites, which I immediately had treated. He went over the issues, which were much more than I anticipated, and then the quote. It still left me standing at the crossroads on what to do. However, after much thought and discussion and questions answered, Joe worked with me, and I made a decision I wanted to keep my home. An AFS crew showed up on a Monday for a week long project that included joist work (adding and replacement), partial girder replacement, some sealplate replacement, and then encapsulation (due to water and moisture problems). The crew - Taylor Fox, David Ennis, Patrick Trotter, and Clay Graham (who came on the last day to assist with completion) were nothing short of amazing. Such hardworking professionals with great work ethic that kept me updated throughout the project with pics. I just can't say enough good. What a pleasure it was to have them around. Their workmanship looks amazing! I am so thankful for that truck passing my house that one day that lead me to call AFS. I know they had my best interest at heart, and for that, I am grateful. I was blessed with the best!

They were very professional at first. They came out and did a lot of testing and put together and very professional presentation. After we signed the contract, they were slow to return calls and after they finished the work, they will not return calls. They broke a tile while doing work and will not come to fix it. We paid double the estimate H2O gave us because we liked the professional proposal, but they don't follow up to make sure the work was done right and good luck getting someone to come if you need help after. I have no confidence they will uphold the warranty.

Today was the one year post-install re-inspection and according to Emmett, all is well! I hired AFS a year ago to add pier pins below one side of our basement wall and add a custom drain and pump system to the opposite wall. I liked their pricing better than other quotes, and they delivered on-time, on-budget, and were a pleasure to work with throughout all meetings. Good to have a competent, service-minded company for handling major repairs.

Cody was accommodating and courteous during our inspection during our major whole house renovation. Alberto did a fantastic job on the install.

Hired AFS to do concrete floor injection leveling. Parris Houchins and Bug Boyd did a fantastic job of drilling and injecting the material to stabilize part of my pool deck and patio slab. It was done with professionalism and expertise. I was very happy with the result and well worth the time and money spent for an important job.

Nick B and Ethan E came a couple of days earlier than scheduled(which we really appreciated since it is a week before Thanksgiving) to level our concrete garage/laundry room floor. We had already moved everything out from both areas(some was in our dining room and kitchen) in preparation for their arrival when Nick reached out to us that they had finished other jobs sooner than expected and could come to our home a few days earlier. Needless to say , getting the job done a few days earlier gave us more time to get our home ready for Thanksgiving dinner! They were both professional, courteous and quickly got the job done. We are pleased with the results!

Everything went so smoothly. From the initial call for a quote to have our crawl space encapsulated to the actual installation. Jason Camp, the sales rep was here early and was very thorough. He explained everything clearly and answered all of our questions. The best part was there was absolutely no hard sale. The crew that showed up to do the work was also very professional and on time. Cody B, the supervisor, let us know when they were on the way and all about the process as they were doing the work. The guys that did the work, Austin H. and Jaxon P. were also top notch (not sure which one sings while he works but he kept me entertained!) It's nice to hire someone to do a job and have our end product look like the advertisement pictures.

We contacted AFS because our sunroom (built on a concrete pad) had started to settle. We spoke with Kevin Crow and after he explained our options, we decided to go with the poly expanding foam. The installation was was completed by Parris Houchins & Bug Boyd. They did excellent work and were very careful not to break up the tile floor. We are so pleased with the work that they did. This is the second time we have called on AFS for foundation repairs and we would definitely use them again.

Alex and his crew did fantastic job. All my problems foundation stability and getting rid of water damage were taking care of. These guys worked their butts off getting the job done. Thank you guys

AFS came to do my crawlspace drainage. The guys did a great job, they were very polite, they cleaned up nicely, too. I was especially impressed by the way they treated my family and respected my home. The service was great, and I love the lifetime warranty and the fact that it will transfer to a new owner if I sell the home. This increased the value of my home, the quality of our air, and the health of my family. Special thanks to the crew: Nikoli E, Clay G, and Tyler M. Also, the communication and information I received from the sales rep, Garret G, were professional and precise. I got three companies to quote this, and AFS gave me the best options to choose from, the best prices, and the best warranty. Let me save you some time and trouble, call AFS first. Very professional company AFS. They came out and leveled a concrete floor that had been poured over foundery sand and was not properly compacted so floor began to settle. They drilled the holes all around the walls and across the floor at specific locations and slowly brought leveled the floor with expanding foam. Concrete piers were positioned in place so the foundation could never move and cause cracks. Very proud of the job they did and it has been a money making rental unit for me. This is a follow-up to a previous review from 9.19.2024 After posting this review, we were contacted and came to a mutually agreeable resolution. You need to know that they do not do cosmetic work, and they will do the best they can to solve your problem.

On time. We just had flooding making the job more challenging. Nice folks, very courteous and professional. Cleaned up the job site as best as they could.

This is an update to the review below: I was contacted by AFS Chattanooga after writing this review. They were very understanding of our concerns and we came to an agreement that satisfied both of us. My only other comment is that you need to understand that they do not do cosmetic repairs and they will do the best they can to get the problem solved. We contracted with AFS Chattanooga to level part of our driveway and the steps outside of our garage. We are not happy with the final product. The salesman told us they would be able to do what we requested. We also had them seal the cracks in the driveway. At the time, we asked if they could make it blend in with the driveway. We were told they could not match it, but gave us the impression that it would blend and not be too noticeable. They came to do the work on September 11, 2024. They were unable to get the garage step leveled. I was told by Paris the foreman, they do not guarantee that they will be able to make it level, but they would only try. Not the answer I was expecting. If he thought it was not going to work, he never should have attempted to lift it. I now have a broken door sill that needs to be replaced.  The driveway was done, as best they could ;. It looks much better from the leveling perspective. However, the sealant they put down is not even close to blending. It is gray and our driveway has a pebble stone finish which is more brown.  I said that it was not acceptable, and Paris told me that AFS does not do cosmetic work. Not what I wanted to hear after the salesman said they would do the best they could and gave us the impression it may not match perfectly but would be close and blend.. Now my driveway looks terrible with gray stripes where the cracks were filled. This was not an inexpensive project and we are woefully disappointed. We lodged our concern immediately on September  12, 2024, with the company and was told, that it was just the way it is. We were told that our complaint would be brought up with management and we have heard nothing since. It has been one week to the day since the work was done. We want our money refunded for the back step since they accomplished nothing more than breaking the sill and would like some restitution for the mess with the sealant.
