If I could assign zero stars, I would. We hired AFS to encapsulate our crawlspace because we trusted their expertise and believed their recommendations would protect our home from moisture issues. Before the work began, we were told there was only minor mold present and that remediation wasn’t necessary because the encapsulation would take care of it. We relied on that professional guidance when making our decision. After the work was completed, we discovered extensive mold growth beneath our home—so severe that it required more than $7,000 in professional remediation. Beyond the financial hit, this raised serious concerns about our family’s health due to prolonged exposure. After I left my initial review, Ray, the general manager, reached out. I hoped this meant AFS was willing to work toward a fair resolution. Instead, he maintained that because they believed nothing was wrong with the installation, the company bore no responsibility for what happened. Although we were invited to share what would make things right, no solution or support was ever offered. What made the situation even more frustrating was that Ray never offered to have anyone inspect the encapsulation or verify the quality of the work. Instead, he questioned the credibility of the independent mold remediation company we hired and repeatedly emphasized that AFS is the “number one encapsulation company in the United States.” The conversation felt less about addressing our concerns and more about defending the company’s reputation. We asked AFS to help cover the cost of remediation because we had followed their recommendations and were left with a significant and unexpected expense. Even if they disagreed with our request, we expected some effort to investigate the issue or meet us halfway. Instead, they declined entirely and showed no interest in evaluating their own work. Most concerning was the lack of urgency or care regarding the condition of our crawlspace and the potential health risks to our family. We went from being told there was only minor mold to dealing with a widespread problem after their work was completed. Yet there was no effort to understand what changed or whether their installation played a role. That response speaks volumes. A company’s true character isn’t revealed when everything goes smoothly—it’s revealed when problems arise. In our case, AFS showed a clear lack of accountability, empathy, and customer care. If you value integrity and accountability, think carefully before hiring AFS. We trusted them with our home, and when things went wrong, they chose not to stand behind their work or their customers.

Jesus and Uriel were fabulous. Kevin and Logan were also involved in the project. They worked very hard and and made sure we understood when they planned to arrived and the work they planned to accomplish.

The guys Bobby, David, and Bryce that come out to do the work on my home was extremely professional! They called to let me know they were on their way, let us know when they finished, made sure I didn’t have any questions for the team daily, made sure I didn’t have any issues that needed to be addressed in the process, didn’t bother us as they worked, cleaned up after themselves each day, asked to leave couple items overnight for the job and placed a cone by it, steadily worked in 105 heat index taking 1-2 breaks, let us know when completed to let me inspect and showed me everything done explaining through details of it, answering all questions I had while inspecting, the process they did to protect it and the dehumidifier. Once they finished inspection with me, they finished cleaning everything up and one sat down with me to finish process and signing still making sure all my questions and concerns were answered. He then looked at my plan and explained future of the system and what will take place. I trusted the process of them and extremely satisfied. These men were an absolute representation of the company from start to finish! I’m absolutely very happy with them and process. Highly recommend.

AFS has been Great! Exceptional customer experience!!! Upon calling for a new estimate after initial estimate a year ago. Dylan Vandevender came out just 2 days after calling to reevaluate and update the current foundational status of our home. He was very kind and detailed in explaining the conditions to my mom, sister, and I. We are very satisfied and we would definitely recommend Dylan and AFS with its Lifetime warranty services to anyone seeking or needing a foundational lift or preventative measures from further sinking!!! He insisted AFS had done nothing wrong, refused to help with remediation costs, never offered to inspect the work, and questioned the credibility of the independent remediation company we hired. The most disappointing part wasn?t just the outcome?it was the lack of accountability. AFS showed no interest in investigating what happened or standing behind their recommendations. We trusted them with our home, and when things went wrong, they chose not to stand behind their customer.

Chase did the inspection and recommendations, the Uriel and crew did an excellent job getting it done. Uriel explained everything as they went which was very appreciated. He, Jose, Bryce and Christopher are great at their jobs. I would certainly recommend this company.

My scheduled appointment with Cameron Goodrich from the Mobile, AL. branch was for 12:00 noon, and before the time of the appointment, I received a phone call from Cameron, who stated that he had finished early on another job in the area and wanted to see if I would like to have him come out sooner. I was very pleased to hear that and I was accommodating. Once Cameron arrived, he introduced himself and we sat down to go over the entire process of what the inspection was going to entail. Cameron was very professional, knowledgeable of the job, and a very polite man. After going over the process, Cameron asked if there were any questions I had for him or concerns I have noticed since the install. I did go over a couple of things that were noticed and I was reassured all would be investigated and corrected within the companys ability (Meaning anything outside of what they can do, wont be able to be done which, makes perfect sense). Tommy, Jeremiah, & Dylan repaired damage caused by somebody else who renovated my home. They cleaned up after themselves, as well. Great team!

Tommy, Jeremy & Dylan did an excellent job removing the old sub floor in our farmhouse and installing a new one. They communicated with us daily about the job and it’s progress, were respectful, and very easy to work with.

AFS has encapsulated my crawlspace and put supports next to my house to stop a crack from moving. Most recently, David, Bobby, and Jesus came out for the supports. They were on time, efficient, and kept me updated with pictures and cleaned up after themselves. Hopefully I don’t need anything else done in the crawlspace, but if I do I will be calling AFS! A++

Sometimes, when a big-ticket item needs to be purchased for your home, there’s a fear of hiring the wrong people for the job. That was not the case with AFS. My salesperson, Brian, didn’t talk over my head. He’s a good ol' boy and a real one at that, which means a lot to me. He explained everything in layman's terms, which I appreciated since I don’t know much about houses or repairs. This is my first home, and I’m 40 years old. When my floors started to show moisture, swell, and buckle, I was completely lost. Brian explained the science behind everything clearly. He didn’t talk down to me, try to oversell, scare, or pressure me. With over 15 years of experience as a salesperson myself, I can tell the difference. Brian didn’t sell me; he gave me options, asked questions, provided information, and allowed me to make a decision on my own time. He was courteous, punctual, and professional. Secondly, the installation process was fantastic. My installers—Josh, Lewis, and Cameron—were excellent. They showed me everything and explained each step. They were courteous and spoke to me with respect. I really love this company and will recommend their business to everyone I meet. I feel to the need to let anyone who reads this post know. The customer service that AFS provided was on par with Costco and Chick-fil-A. If you have ever been to these places, you know the feeling like the person your speaking to actually cares about your needs that is this company. With that being said it is my opinion that the top three companies with the best customer service are as followed AFS, Costco and Chick-fil-A they are in A League of Their Own. Very profession, great job explaining the process and doing the job

The team from AFS (Uriel, Bryce, and Austin) was prompt, communicative, and hardworking in getting the project completed in a timely manner. They were also friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate, answering all my questions and checking in with me when they had to move things in the garage to make room for equipment. They even let me know when they were at an exciting part of the job so i could come watch the work! I would be glad to hire AFS again, especially if these guys were the crew that worked on the job.
