AG Spa Service-Unlicensed Contractor

Armando showed up a few days after I hired AG he went through the system and pointed out quite a few things that needed repaired than I had contracted for...which was fine. However it was another five days before work began. When he did get to the repairs we had contracted for he corrected about 3/4 of them and left, that was 8 days ago and I he still hasn't show up to complete the last repairs. I contacted him by phone 3 days ago (today is Sunday) and he let me know that they are very busy and he has to go where his bosses send him.....I guess I am low on the priority list.

We have an older model spa that we needed an opinion on whether to upgrade or repair. We were happy to know that repairs would get our spa up and running.

COPPER THIEF !!!! He said he would pay for the copper he took from a job but never sent me the money . 400 dollars worth of copper line and i told him to give me 150 , i compromised in hopes that i wouldn't have to hunt this thief down but he still couldn't pay. He's just a small time thief that will burn you for a couple of bucks.

We were told he would try to make it out on Friday the 14th to just take a look and provide an estimate. He didn't make Friday but then said he might make it Saturday. On Saturday I called him & we discussed that he would come Monday at 8:30. I said my husband would take off from work to be here. He did not show at 8:30, he promised noon so I came home for my lunch at noon but he still did not show. He came that afternoon while we were both at work, did the work, never contacted us with an estimate and we had to call him when we got home to find out what he had done. He then wanted $125 but couldn't justify the charge or time spent

the guy didn't show up twice. on the 3rd try he was there about 10 min. did not hear anything for 3 day. called him and he said he fund one leak. i ask him well what now. he said he had to look to see if he had a jet. week and a half later still havent heard back. i told him i had to have this fix asap. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY.

Did not accept credit cards---Not very structured- I had to call for progress reports-no itemized invoice for completed project-Did I receive a "fair deal?

AG Spa finally returned my numerous calls to return a fix what he thought was wrong with my hot tub. Prior to Armondo's visit he had made numerous visits each time something different stopped working. This visit he replaced the mother board and added the blower board that he was suppose to replace that I had paid for. When he left he noted the controller screen was unreadable. He would get a cost and call me. Its been two weeks I order it on line and will fix it myself.

I was pleased with Armando's service. He knew what he was doing and accomplished the task in a workmanlike fashion.

He was very professional and prompt.

The first Hot Tub motor was defective...it was five days before he replaced it. I am still not sure if I have a new motor or not. Sloppy work, he didn't replace all the screws on the outside panels. I would not recomend AC Spa Service.

He is charming on the phone but once he gets to the project his fixing methods are his own. It seems He wants to sell you a spa rather than fixing it.

Came when he said he would and handled the issue appropriately.

Armando was attentative to our schedule and completed the repairs in a timely manner. We are exceptionally pleased with his knowledge, advice and was easy to work with. Highly recommend AG for all repairs and/or maintenance issues.

Armando showed up the next morning. He knew what the problem was in the first ten minutes. He got parts and came back the next day and installed them. Spa works great. He is resonable on prices especially if you have ever used one of the other spa repair companies. They charge much more! I recommend highly.

Not recommended. AG Spa called immediately after submitting the request for quotes. After getting the quote for the service call, I made it clear that we were waiting for other vendors to call and that I would call him if I needed the work done. The next day, I returned from running errands to find the repairman, Armando, in my backyard with the spa taken apart and he informed me that he had already fixed the problem. The spa HAD been fixed, but without my permission or even an estimate. The bill came to more than I was wanting to spend, but I was on the hook for it since it had been repaired. I was not happy with the experience

Armando was the first to return my call, so he got the job. He came out the same day. My hot tub had a leak. He quoted a price of $225 for the repair. After fixing the leak, he checked some of the jets and some needed to be replaced and we needed filters too. Just purchasing the new jets and filters brought the bill to a surprisingly $480. He returned the next day without calling first and when no one answered the door, he left the new jets and filters on the side of the garage, outside the RV gate. He called me later to tell me this and said that we could install the jets and I said I wanted him to install them. He did install them.

Charged me $60 to come put a part on that I could have put on myself.

Armando did a good job, diagnosed the problem, got the part and completed the repair as agreed. I recommend him highly.
