"(consumer name withheld per their request), I spoke with you last week and told you that your inside door was in and that the company was having a VERY DIFFICULT time finding a storm door the size you need, It is a VERY unusual size for a trailer. At the time you seemed very understanding and thanked me for continuing to work on it. We are MOST CERTAINLY NOT A RIP OFF. I take MAJOR offense to that as we worked EXCEEDNGLY HARD to make sure you, our customer are happy and the work is done in a timely manner. Sometimes things happen, like having to wait for DOORS and GATES to come in from ANOTHER company which is COMPLETELY out of our control, but I contacted you on several occasions to let you know that we were continuing to TRY to find your door. we NEVER, EVER make a customer pay 100% upfront. NEVER!!!! We require a deposit, which EVERY company does. You are just one of those people who like to complain about everything no matter what. We ALWAYS go out of our way to please our customers and are continuing to try to finish your job. Nothing is more frustrating to us than not being able to finish a job in the time we told a customer it would be done. You have been contacted and told on numerous occasions that the delay is not from our side that it is being caused by a 3rd party. You were also told that your trailer door is NOT the usual size and had to be custom ordered. You DID NOT want to pay for that so we on a daily basis are continuing to look for a cheaper alternative. If you had given the go ahead on that door your job would be complete. I DO NOT appreciate this in the least as you have been kept up to date on EVERY aspect of what is going on.------ And furthermore we continue to keep in contact you when we have information about your custom order doors. (consumer name withheld per their request.) Your (special order) front door and gate frame have arrived! We are please to advise you that your items for you home repair have arrived at the Lowes store on 23 rd.st. our staff will contact your with the install date with in 24 hours. We thank you for using us for you home repair company. Items left to complete on your job: 1. Gate for deck. 2. Front door and complete frame installation. 3. Storm door repair or replace. {size, style, cost, or availability} are making this item difficult to locate. We will discuss or have discussed other options for getting you this item. We will continue to try and find this item for you or refund the difference to your account with AHR Services. Its amazing to me that someone who has such evil things to say doesn't have the GUTS to put her NAME behind them!! If you And incidently we only charged you half which we do with every single customer! This job is now complete, and her roommate, who ACTUALLY OWNS THE HOUSE, was VERY pleased with our work!!!!!! We thank you for being"
"I am not really sure where you are coming from. You asked us to install a dryer vent through a wall that was behind the dryer. While on the phone you were asked if it was an exterior wall. You confirmed it was. We estimated it would take two hours at 55.00 per hour. That is our base call fee and the part (damper) would cost 15.00. You said that was fine. We bought the parts at Lowes and went to your job. When I got there you and your son where debating weather or not to fix or if the underground vent system could be fixed. Ok from that point the scope of work just changed. I was asked to examine the underground pipe. So first thing was to vacuum out the pipe with a commercial 30 gallon vacuum with pipe extensions on it. Then I did what I know most handymen don't even have the equipment to do which is pull out a scope camera system and send it through the pipe. At this point any plumbing company would have charged you $450.00 if they would have charged you a penny. What I found was that the pipe was full of water, roots, mold, dirt etc. Now your only option was to go through the wall or up the wall and out to the eve across the porch. Your son like that idea and you said you just wanted to go through the wall. I went to Lowes again to get the saw to cut the brick and a different vent set up. When I got back to the job I made a pencil size hole in the wall to look and make sure the wall was open without obstruction i.e., wires, studs etc. with the same camera. I discovered it was not even the out side wall that the laundry room in the hall backed up to your guest bathroom and with door closed and dog gates up I am glad I took a look before just cutting a 41/2" hole in the wall of you bathroom. So now we get into the fix. I told you that I would not charge you for the time I was at your home the day before and that the job was not going to cost only 110.00 dollars. Your son who owns the house said mom I am paying for this and that it a lot more work. I had to return to Lowes buy $182.25 in parts. I spent all day until way past dark working on your project in the attic, outside, and in the laundry room and if you recalled it was pouring down raining with lighting. I thought to myself several times I must be nuts, but the job must get done. I was able to get the duct in the wall with out even opening up the wall. The duct was nearly 40' after going to the edge of the porch where I mounted the down draft duct with grill. All of this had to be mounted and assembled. I started your job at 8:00 am and ended at well past 7:45 pm and had to cancel my plans for the evening. You know all this and still have something negative to say. I told your son that I would be back Friday or as soon as your neighbors outdoor speaker grill comes in. That another handyman walked off the job with and never returned. Now I know my office has called you and spoken with you two times about returning to the job. So all I can say is you were told what the cha"
