Gentleman that worked for the company was very nice, but not happy with how soon the company showed up after work being requested. The machinery was not able to do the work as stated it would be done.

Drywall Repair
Carl and his crew were very friendly and professional. They are easy to work with and take care to do their work well and want very much to please the client above all. I would hire them again for other projects as needed.

I hired Habitual Handyman to install drywall in a single car garage in preparation for an inspection to sell a house so I was on a tight schedule. I live out of town which made the work to occurred on the day Dan promised even more critical. The work was scheduled for a Monday so I called Dan the Friday before the job; no response. I tired again Sat and even Sunday; no response. I drove into Fairmont and Monday morning, the day we had agreed to work was scheduled to being; Dan was a no show. He had not replied to any of my phone calls or texts. I scrambled to find a replacement. Dan left me high and dry without a single call. Beware of hiring this company.

Dan responded immediately to our request for an estimate. He began the work promptly, and finished quickly, in spite of some necessary delays due to weather. We're very pleased with Dan's work.

He was unable to perform to my expectations (and his ) due to not anticipating the traffic generated by our major (televised)football game. He had to come several days later but underestimated the time required to do the job. Rain delayed his work for several days. His completed work was good; I was not impressed by his assistant.

You are 100% correct. iI didn't anticipate the amount of traffic on that Saturday as I live in Fairmont, WV. and am not familiar with the traffic problems in Morgantown on game day. The weather slowed me down as well but I was happy to complete the project an hour and a half behind my bid... over-all I am just happy that you are happy with the work I did there and should you need anything at all It is my sincere hope that you'll call A Habitual Handyman again !"

Th man had good intentions and wanted to replace my kitchen lights in one evening sight unseen. He realized he couldn't do it in one night so he came back the next night around 8pm and still couldn't get it done. He came back on Saturday and finished the job in 2 hours. It was a lot more than just taking down lights and replacing them with new ones, which I am sure he realized the first night. It turned into a bigger job than he thought it would be. That being said, I am very pleased with the results and the new lights look great. If he had just looked at the job the first night and after seeing that it was a much bigger job than first thought, he could have come back on Saturday and done it all at once. That would have saved him time and trips to Lowes. He is very personable and easy to work with. I would hire him again.
